[Authority Rank: 2 (10→28.4/100)]
Nik glances at the AP Storage Chip before devouring it for minimal AP since it lost its value. It’s logical from the item creator’s point of view. Why would others pay for high-ranked AP Storage Chips if using the Rank 1 Variant solves their issues? So, a Rank 2 Operative cannot use a Rank 1 AP Storage Chip to store AP. They need to buy the Rank 2 AP Storage Chip.
It’s forced Marketing at its finest. But Nik doesn’t feel annoyed. What’s there to be annoyed about? He’s gained so much that he barely cares about these things.
His lone figure attracts the attention of several women in the busy Tokyo streets. No longer dressed in bulletproof hoodies or trousers since the Frenzied Flames burnt them all, Nik wears the outfits selected by Kurumi. So, he sports a decent grey shirt with fitting sleeves around his biceps, but otherwise comfortable fit, and a pair of blue jeans. As usual, Nik likes keeping his hair neat and not growing into other styles, like Sokka’s wolftail.
However, as suppressed as it may be, an Incubus’ charm is the stuff of danger.
‘I wonder what more is there to discover from Duck-Tape’s pile of items,’ Nik hums as he crosses the streets and buildings before arriving at the muted residential area. Maintaining a consistent pulse of spiritual sense, Nik soon discovers a familiar presence near one of the houses.
He crouches slightly, exerting strength within his legs while rousing the wind around him—
*Whoosh*
His figure flies into the air as Nik maneuvers to gently land beside a crouching, white-haired gremlin ogling a schoolgirl from another man’s roof with a bag of potato chips and in an oversized orange hoody.
Ray… does fit a certain stereotype.
“You know… girls can be creepy, too,” Nik informs. “So, being a Succubus and cute doesn’t excuse the stuff you like doing.”
“So, you believe I’m cute,” Ray smirks. “Wondering what I’m doing here?”
“I don’t have to wonder,” Nik rolls his eyes as he sits beside the succubus, enjoying her scent more than usual—he’s happy, is all. “Koro might not have shown it, but he gets pissed when anything threatens the students, even the students themselves. He probably did something shocking to keep others from using the students as bait again, right?”
“Something like that,” Ray shrugs.
“Nyo? Are you talking about me?”
Ray and Nik shudder as they hear a cheerful voice beside them.
Flanking Ray with Nik, Koro-Sensei sits on the other side. He’s dressed in a black shirt with the white ‘Oppai’ print, sporting a massive bag of potato chips and other snacks. Nik also catches a glance at a stack of perverted magazines.
“What are you doing here?” The duo snaps at the creature as two pink spots appear on his ‘cheeks.’
“T-There was an AV Star fan meeting not far from here. Of course, I went there for research… and see if they were shooting a documentary.”
Nik feels speechless.
[Smexy-succu-succu: Anyway, I completed the mission. Let me tell you… the reward was nothing compared to a Pokemon Egg capable of following me into other worlds like a familiar.]
“So… what did you do, Koro-Sensei?”
Koro’s face turns white, and his perpetual grin turns into a ‘-’ line.
“I shook Miss. Kiyoko’s hand… Remember, whatever they post on the internet is a lie.”
“Not that,” Nik rubs the bridge of his nose before shrugging. “Not that it matters to me. But why are you here, Ray? I told you I’d take care of it.”
“Well,” Ray smirks. “I wasn’t sure if you were planning to meet her tonight. Every moment counts when it comes to Saki.”
“Oh? Why is that?” Koro questions.
“Nothing—” Nik begins only for Ray to admit.
“Oh, Saki might be raped by her father.”
“What?”
Koro gasps before the stack of magazines suddenly appears… shorter.
“What was in those magazines, Koro-Sensei?”
“N-Nothing important!” Koro looks away, poorly attempting to whistle as Nik tosses Ray an annoyed glare.
“What?” Ray shrugs. “Koro-Sensei saw the things we can do. He must realize that we weren’t lying about the things we know.”
“That’s true,” Nik refutes. “But this isn’t the same world. You cannot be sure Saki’s father would be doing that. Don’t ruin the good man’s name because you read hentai.”
“That’s a valid point, Nik-Sensei,” Koro smiles. “As for the things you know… do you think I’m different from the counterpart you read about, Ray-Sensei?”
“No,” Ray smiles. “But I wouldn’t want to share what I know. You never struck me as the man willing to know about the future.”
“True…” Korosensei sighs.
“So? What are your intentions, Nik-Sensei? Things are turning out to be dramatic, right?” Koro looks at Nik.
“Well,” Ray smirks. “I wanted to… or let Nik save Saki from her father at the moment of the disaster. It would feel so heart-touching. Just think about it, Korosensei.”
‘As if Koro will agree—’
“Oh! Oh! I can just imagine how Saki-Chan will find her heart throbbing at the sight of Nik-Sensei crashing through the window and punching her scum father’s face before hugging her and taking her away!” Koro gushes. “I can even bring a violin to produce a soul-stirring musical symphony to seal the deal. That’s the least I can do after the trouble Nik-Sensei went for Class 3-E.”
Nik deadpans.
And he thought he was perverted for having a Harem.
There’s always a mountain beyond the peak, eh?
“Well,” Nik drily remarks. “I don’t plan to crash through any windows. I will knock on their door, and talk with Saki’s supposed sexually-charged and incestually-motivated father before asking her out since she doesn’t mind my presence.”
“Nyo!”
“No!”
A pair of beady eyes and pink orbs reluctantly stare at Nik, expressing their silent and perverted determination.
“Look,” Nik reasons. “Saki went through a lot. I don’t want to add to her list of traumas just because you guys want some drama.”
This knocks some sense into the duo.
Yet…
Their sharp senses pick something from Saki’s house.
Ray and Koro glance at each other before suddenly high-fiving each other.
“Lucky~!” They snap before clearing their throats and appearing ostentatiously ashamed. Meanwhile, Nik’s shoulders slump as he grunts.
‘I’m going to look into how to make myself luckier. It’s bullshit.’
He doesn’t bother replying to the duo or claim how they are selfish—that would be mighty hypocritical of Nik. Instead, he jumps down the roof before expertly landing on the concrete fence. His figure flashes ahead before he rings Saki’s doorbell.
“Is he really—” Ray pouts, unwilling to see Nik give up such a chance. Her expression soon brightens.
<<<>>>
Saki exhales as she slumps on her bed. It feels… calm. Only now does she get a breather after yesterday’s events. Like Irina-Sensei and others, Saki played innocent to the questioning. It worked because others didn’t remember a thing. Meanwhile… Yellow-Sensei moved those Russian men elsewhere before the authorities arrived.
Still, as Saki twists on her bed, lying on her stomach and chin resting on the pillow, she wonders if she should feel bad.
She’s… numb about the things she saw yesterday save for a set of chiseled, round… ehm.
Saki buries her head with an ‘oomph’ sound before she unlocks her smartphone.
‘Should I send him a message?’ Saki gulps before she shakes her head. ‘No… he must be busy.’ Her chest tightens at the thought of those beautiful women around him.
‘He’s a… womanizer…’ she mourns. How can she be so unlucky?!
‘To think I like an adulterer…’ She curls under her blanket, feeling her heartbeat race inside her bosom. ‘A reckless, kind, gentle, and savior of an adulterer!’ Saki grumbles. She couldn’t think about anything yesterday. But now?
She’s steadily coming to terms with the things she chose to bore by not accepting Nik’s offer of suppressing her memories.
And yet, she wonders again…
‘What should I feel?’ Saki frowns. She feels empty at the thought of her classmate’s death. It’s not like they were friends. She tried to be their friend… but it never worked. Saki has been unlucky that way.
The one teacher she liked—Joseph—was half the reason for the disaster and was killed by Nik.
What Joseph’s ‘servants’ conversed about didn’t make Saki feel any better.
‘Joseph-Sensei wanted me for some reason…’ She feels sad. Joseph-Sensei could have asked Saki. Had she known the mess he would create, Saki would have willingly gone to the place Joseph-Sensei wanted.
But such a thought opened a floodgate of repulsive thoughts brewing in her mind—from her P.E. Teacher ogling her to a classmate molesting her before others revealed how they’d been wanting to sleep with her for the longest time.
‘It’s not like I didn’t want a boyfriend,’ Saki curls further, feeling her stomach churn. ‘But why did all of them have to be so… forceful?’ Her shoulders shudder at the thought of violence she sank in.
It was as if she was willing to commit her darkest desires…
It felt wrong… and right…
Saki closes her eyes, unwilling to think further about it. She wants to sleep.
Yet, sleep doesn’t come easy now that her mind decided to fester these memories.
‘What are their families feeling?’ Saki questions. ‘Would any of them feel less sad about their children's’ death if I told them how they were willing to rape me?’
That… sounds like one of her worst ideas to date.
But Saki, after her experiences, feels like she’s owed some hurt. She wants to repay those complicated bastards. How hard would it have been to just be nice to her and be her friend? It’s not like Saki poses as a saint, like Yukio Washimine from 3-A. Saki wants to feel nice, too.
‘Wait… sex is supposed to feel good, right? I never got time to watch any porn… but I did peek into some magazines the boys used to bring in earlier years…’
Saki muses when she hears her father enter the house. It’s not long before her father knocks on her bedroom door.
Perking up, Saki opens the door for her father, letting him in as he closes the door behind him.
“Ah! You’re back!” His aged face is full of relief as he pulls Saki into a hug—a hug she reciprocates with all her affection.
“I’m sorry for worrying you, Dad,” she nuzzles her face into his chest, tightening her arms around his back as she feels his broad arms returning the favor.
She never felt safer than now.
All her anxiety melts into his arms as Saki closes her eyes.
“I’m so glad you are safe. Sorry for not being here during the day, Saki. Are you fine?” He questions, not letting her leave. Her father’s protectiveness and worry put a gratified smile on her face as Saki nods, “I am, Dad. Don’t worry about other things. I’m glad you’re here.”
“I am, too,” her father whispers as Saki feels his hand slide down. Not that it mattered to her until—
“Hmm?” Saki’s eyes almost bulge out of her sockets as she feels her father roughly groping her ass.
“D-Dad?!”
“Don’t worry, Saki,” her dad grunts as Saki feels a bulge pressing against her stomach. “I was so worried about you.” She feels him sniff her hair. He always did that. But Saki used to feel loved before. Now…
Saki struggles against her father’s embrace, trying to pry herself out.
“Dad! Stop!” Her shouts are muffled against his chest as her father hisses. “Stop being loud, you ungrateful slut!” She feels one of his hands sliding past the waistband of her pajama, feeling her flesh as Saki gasps. His words hit Saki harder than his actions as he settled his glare on her blue orbs. “What do you think was going to happen? Hmm? Do you think I didn’t notice how you put time in makeup?”
A lecherous yet gratified smirk appears on the man’s face. “I’m glad. You look like your mother when she was your age.”
Saki’s heart shudders, too stunned to say another word.
Even her dad…
It’s everyone, Saki realizes. Everyone is the same.
She feels her strength drain at her father’s thick, dry lips nearing her well-maintained soft petals.
Saki doesn’t feel the need to struggle. Why should she do that? If her father can be like this then…
If Joseph can be like this then…
Nik mustn’t be any—
The duo ignores the doorbell, something Saki’s mother answers. Yet, Saki and her father cannot ignore the loud crash beside them as the window shatters in. Saki’s father looks up…
Saki only sees a fist thrust into her father’s face through his nose before she feels those lecherous arms loosening. Her father’s bulky, generous body lifts off the floor as he crashes past her door before slamming into the wall. The loud noise attracts her mother’s yelp…
Yet, all Saki feels is a strong, comforting presence. This time, that strong arm around her shoulder doesn’t aim to take undue advances. It might be a stretch… but Saki hears a soft, rousing symphony around her once she lays her eyes on her savior’s impressive features.
It has to be a lie, right?
She cannot be deluded about a romantic tune while resting her weight against Nik as he glances at her. He smiles.
Good. So he cannot hear the music, Saki surmises. It must be in her head. But it’s fine. She smiles back. Despite her earlier assumptions, Saki cannot help but feel… well, it’s something. Her thoughts are a mess as she holds his hand.
“T-Thank you,” she whispers.
“I’m glad I was around,” Nik admits. He truly didn’t think of seeing Ray’s plan through… but it happened either way.
“Who are you?!”
A voice shouts. “Leave my daughter alone!”
Saki’s mother screams as she helps her husband up. The man sports a broken, bleeding nose, barely coming to be as Saki swiftly leaves Nik, hugging her mother.
“Mom!” she sobs, letting all her fears out. “Dad touched me. I was so scared. Nik-Sensei saved me—”
*Pah*
A slap, that even Nik didn’t see coming, strikes Saki as her mother snaps. “What are you talking about? Are you trying to give your father a heart attack?”
“It’s the truth!” yells Saki, feeling familiar indignations stifle her bosom. “Dad was groping me, like those boys during—”
“Shut up, you slut!” Her mother rages red, slapping Saki again, only for Nik to catch the woman’s wrist.
There’s no song playing in the background now.
“How about you tell the truth?” Nik glances at the man, who hasn’t punched hard enough yet. Nik makes the executive decision to use the [Twilight Thief] to reduce the misunderstanding as Saki’s father confesses how he’s nursed sexual urges against his daughter for a while, all of which disgusts Saki till she breaks down into tears.
Yet… listening to all this…
Saki’s mother glares at Saki.
“It’s all your fault!” The mother unleashes. “You slut! You couldn’t keep it in with those boys and tried seducing your father—”
“Alright, she’s not all there in her mind,” Nik gazes at the duo. “You punched your husband because he wanted anal and you wouldn’t give it.”
Once he says this, Nik pulls the sobbing Saki into her room and leaves the couple to tussle it out. The one thing Nik hates more than a bad father is a worse mother. Fuck ‘em.
Helping Saki sit on her bed, Nik pulls a chair.
“I’m sorry you had to hear that,” Nik offers as Saki sobs. “Your family…”
“Is it my fault?” Saki looks at Nik, gasping for air between her words. “Am I the one who made Dad…”
“Well, I don’t think you know seduction enough to perform it…” Nik cups his chin. “Maybe all you attracted until now were hopeless bastards. I wouldn’t worry too much about it. But… do you have someplace to sleep for the night? As I hear it, Class 3 of Senior and Junior High have a week’s vacation, right?”
Saki shakes her head, rubbing her eyes with the back of her arm.
“I… don’t have any friends, Nik-Sensei. That’s why I went through so much to improve my appearance.”
Nik exhales before questioning, “What about your family? Will you ever feel safe? I can… make them safe.” He points at his head. “Your father will never think that way if you want. I can also make you forget it.”
Saki considered this option for once… but her trust was broken. She could not look at her father the same way. She did not want to.
“I don’t want to be with them, Nik-Sensei… please, help me,” Saki lowers her head. “I… if you have those desires… I…”
Saki stops as she feels a warm hand rest on her head. The girl glances up, meeting his warm violet orbs.
“You don’t have to worry about that, Saki. I will never take your advantage.”
Saki’s breath hitches as tears pool around her eyes before she breaks into sobs and gently pulls Nik into a hug. Despite crying, she feels emotional. Her worries melt away once she feels Nik only cradling her head and stroking her hair without ever showing any sign of forcing himself on her. It would have been too easy for someone like him.
“Sorry, you had to find these things, Saki,” he gently whispers as Saki can swear she hears the gentlest of music around her. “I’ll help you.” Her arms tighten around him.
Saki nods into his chest before whispering, “Thank you, Sensei…”
“Just call me Nik,” He sighs.
“Oh, right,” she sniffs before smiling and looking up with red eyes. Saki smiles, “I’m sorry for thinking you were a no-good adulterer, Nik.”
Nik smiles, “You don’t have to apologize for your thoughts, Saki. But… I’m also sorry for thinking you were a crybaby.”
Saki’s lips open.
“What? I’m not!”
“And I’m not an adulterer,” Nik smiles.
“How is that the same? Are you not with multiple women?”
“I am.”
“So, you are!”
“Are you not crying?” Nik tilts his head.
“It’s not the same thing!”
“Sure, it isn’t,” Nik shrugs. “Come on, pack your bag. We’re leaving. Oh, you don’t mind if I ensure your family doesn’t cause a ruckus, right?”
“I don’t,” Saki’s gaze darkens before she questions. “Um… did you hear any music, Nik?”
“Dunno what you’re talking about,” Nik leaves the room with an impassive expression.
“I think we had our fun,” Ray coughs. “Nik can retaliate if annoyed enough. He might set your magazines on fire—”
Koro was gone just like that.
Ray smirks before she leaves, too.
