Kaguya feels out of her depth. She, alongside Ai Hoshino, awoke to a new world. Before that… Kaguya doesn’t remember much about her past. She had a family, a cold one. Kaguya lived to accomplish her goals. Graduating high school with a flawless record was a given until it wasn’t. The memories of the squinty-eyed, glaring blonde youth were vague like the rest, but Kaguya knew she did not like the boy. He outperformed her in bookish academics, which annoyed her. After all, the school’s curriculum was supposed to be the easiest.

Unlike others caught in similar circumstances, Kaguya felt a little relieved. Her supposedly previous ‘owner’ was painted to be a pathetic figure who could not contain her lust. So, imagine Kaguya’s surprise at others singing praises for the equally, if not more, lustful man being their charge.

She met him once. That man was… pleasant. Contained.

Kaguya isn’t aware much about the physical aspects of a relationship. However, she is aware of her beauty. Perhaps not more so than Ai and other girls.

The fact remains: that man respected her boundaries, empathized with her confusion, and gave her free reign.

Kaguya is unsure of what to do with the last bit.

What should she do?

She’s free… well, as much as any human can be. There is always a government or other ruling party above society, right? Her circumstances aren’t any different.

Others think she readily embraced these changes…

They are right.

However, Kaguya knows she isn’t alone. Maybe it is the fact they are both brought to this world together, but that woman… she hasn’t stopped smiling since she opened her eyes.

“Kaguya-san~! What’s gotten into you? Mou! You shouldn’t have tagged along. It’s so smelly!”

Sometimes, Kaguya avoids directly looking into Ai’s eyes. It scares her. Kaguya realizes how Ai is under the misconception that only she is hollow from within… but Kaguya notices similar looks from a few people around her.

When Kaguya conversed with him… Nik… she detected something similar sneaking into his gaze.

Everyone has some darkness inside them.

“It’s fine,” Kaguya replies, looking at Ai. “I asked Nik to enter this place since I like watching these… Sky Bisons.” The girl looks up from the former Idol. “I like how free and cute they are.”

Ai pouts, another fake interaction—Kaguya notes. “I can’t believe Nik allowed you to enter this place but forbade others.”

“That’s because I asked for his permission instead of sneaking around.” Kaguya marvels at the sight of fluffy Sky Bison cubs cuddling with each other as they fly.

“Anyway!” Ai titters. “What do you think of my outfit?” The idol steps back, tilts her body, and forms a ‘V’ pose. She’s dressed in ‘cute’ green overalls, gloves on her hands, and the tips of her fingers stained with manure. Seriously… how do you shovel manure with a tool and still get something on yourself?

Of course, Ai’s cringing at the smell of the manure near her face had been under Kaguya’s prediction.

“You look the part for the job. Or should I say punishment?” Kaguya mutters, returning to gaze at the Sky Bisons. She likes spending hours doing nothing but looking at them.

It’s a pleasant routine.

“Well,” Ai puffs. “I had no idea Nik knew I was nearby. Ne~ Ne~ Do you want to know how lewd they sounded?”

Kaguya refrains from rolling her eyes, having no interest in such matters. In Kaguya’s book, it is worth researching how Ai, sometimes in Hayase’s company, tries prodding Nik’s bottom lines after he refuses to abuse them. Kaguya is sure she can name a new mental ailment with enough time.

“Stop loitering and work, bitch!”

“Yeah! We just had our two-hour second break, and you start talking? Work!”

“This isn’t a vacation!”

“Yeah! Shake that ass— wait, it’s the wrong line. Work that ass!”

“What are they saying, Kaguya-san?” Ai blinks cutely before waving at the girls—

Yep. Some manure bits fly at the swift movement and land on her cheek.

“Kyaaaa!”

Kaguya glances at the giggling septuplets. The Ty Sisters.

Kaguya, alongside others, temporarily reside in their manor.

“They are instructing you to carry out your sentence,” Kaguya translates concisely. She can speak a few languages.

“It’s unfair,” Ai sniffs and wipes her face.

“Three days of labor is nothing short of a miracle for someone who can dictate our life and death,” Kaguya leans against the fence.

“Why don’t you enter and pet the Sky Bisons?” One of the Ty Sisters questions.

It’s astounding how Nik can differentiate them.

“I’m happy on the other side,” Kaguya smiles.

“Hee~ Liar,” the round-faced contortionist grins mischievously. Kaguya blinks at that. She isn’t lying. She doesn’t want to pet those adorable—

Kaguya stops. She observes how every Ty Sister briefly pauses. She can see two of them snapping a selfie with a working Ai in the background. The other few playing and tickling the Sky Bison cubs, much to Kaguya’s irrational dissatisfaction, also stop. The seven sisters laser focus in one direction.

It’s him.

Kaguya can tell.

Only that man attracts such gripping attention from the usually air-headed septuplets.

“Oh? What happened?”

A loud, bestial roar resounds over Ai’s question as the mature Sky Bisons look at the sky before focusing on their tasks.

However, Ai and Kaguya feel their hearts hammering in their chests.

A creature from the myths flaps its wings, diving into the Sky Bison’s stable.

“You got it!” All of them hear a smug laugh. “If only you landed as well as your lightningbending.”

Kaguya, Ai, and the Ty Sisters cover their eyes from dust as the creature flaps and stops moments from smashing into the ground. Ai quietly gulps once she meets the molten-lava-like sunkissed pupils of the fire-breathing green dragon.

Instead, Kaguya looks at the more impressive specimen—the one riding the dragon.

Grinning at the girls, Nik jumps off Ignit’s back before patting the dragon’s scaled neck. “Did you enjoy the ride?”

The dragon lets out a smoky chuff before nudging into Nik.

“Yeah, those other lands are yours, too.” Nik rolls his eyes. He can tell Ignit’s enjoying their daily flight across the three Scars of Infinity.

Tossing everyone a stately, imperious look, Ignit takes off with another flap of her wings.

“Hey,” Nik looks at Kaguya before nodding in Ai’s direction. One obvious thing to others is that Nik keeps some distance from Ai.

Nobody knows why.

“Did you seven keep a watch on Ai?” Nik leans against the fence and gazes at the Ty Sisters.

“Of course!” They unhesitatingly reply… despite being gone for hours.

Actually…

‘Nik’s appearance at the same time Ty Lin and her sisters returned can’t be a coincidence…’ Kaguya looks at the youth.

“Is that so?” Nik tilts his head as Ai, unable to understand the language, pleads for translation from Kaguya through her large, bright, deceptive eyes.

“I would hate for you girls to lie about it because I have a very important question to ask all of you. And if you lied now… I cannot trust you about the other thing, right?”

Kaguya blinks. She’s heard of the talks around the two manors. Her source of information is Irina. The Blonde assassin-cum-teacher can also speak several languages…

Although, Kaguya doesn’t know what to say about Irina’s method of learning said languages. This stunning man attracts the ‘strangest’ of the bunch or the purest.

“Woah… his aura is super serious,” Ty Lee(7) gulps. Her cheeks flush extraordinarily as she and her sister share an embarrassed stare.

“Mou! What is happening?” Ai shifts her heels and pouts.

Nik glances at the girl before looking at the Ty Sisters.

Cold.

Kaguya muses.

“So?” Nik questions with one brow raised.

“Well,” Ty Woo(6) clears her throat. “It was these bitches’ idea!” She throws her sisters under the proverbial bus. “Just ask me that super-duper important question. Ah, Lin! You’ll take my picture with Nik!”

The sailor-mouthed sister skips towards Nik, only for the other sisters to rush past her and lean against the fence opposite Nik. Their faces almost hit Nik.

“What is it?” Ty Lee(7) gulps. All of their faces are red.

‘I should leave,’ Kaguya notes and steps back.

“Stay,” Nik looks at Kaguya. “I know you like watching over the Sky Bisons. Can you do me a favor and look over Ai. Tell me if she doesn’t finish her work.”

Kaguya glimpses. A small smile appears on her face.

“It’s not any trouble,” Kaguya replies.

“Ack! Traitor!” Ai sticks her tongue out. However, every word from the girl’s mouth somehow annoys Nik as he glances at the Ty Sisters.

He heaves before questioning.

“Do you all… want to go for a swim?”

The Ty Sisters blink before looking at each other.

“That’s it?” Ty Lee(7) questions with an almost despairing tone.

“No,” Nik replies, pecking her forehead. “There’s a lot more.”

The septuplets appear reinvigorated before nodding. Cute, happy grins appear on their faces.

Waves crash into the sandy, man-made northern beach of the Sweet Mango Scar of Infinity. Nik appreciates the sight of the Ty Sisters in their skirt bikinis as they lay their mats before walking, handstanding, back-flipping, and cartwheeling in his direction.

Chuckling at their antics, Nik sets the large grill before placing the marinated meat. He is no cook, but he can grill.

“Let us help you~!”

“Hmm. I’m already hungry.”

“Just get on the best part, bitch!”

Their eagerness is palpable. A cocktail of nervousness, curiosity, and the wildest expectations color their gazes as the sisters continue prancing around him. Some preen at his affection and others urge the shameless brute to ask the damn thing.

They can feel his aura. Their aura also subtly transforms. They want him to ask that.

“Oi,” Nik scoffs. “I just wanted a fun beach day with you girls.”

The girls… wrap around him. One of them climbs his back, poking his dome. Another coils around from his leg and latches on his torso. There’s the one putting his leg into some strange hold and more.

“Come on!” pouts Ty Lee(7), stuck on his chest. “Just… say it.”

“Ready?” Nik sighs.

The girls grin.

“Will you make me the happiest man and let me grill my meat?”

The girls blink before Ty Lee(7) presses her chin into his pecs. Her greyish eyes turn glassy and watery, and she puckers her lips in a silent protest. The girls squeeze Nik’s body tighter.

‘Damn…’ Nik almost feels shaken. ‘To think they’d force me…’

Then again, having his body constricted and those words squeezed out to appease the sisters feels… right.

“I can’t possibly do anything with you girls—”

Nik disappears before reappearing in another spot.

“Ah~!” he snickers at the sight of the Ty Sisters piled on each other. They turn around, puffing and glaring at the youth.

“Nik!” Ty Lin(1) begins when the youth extends his hand.

Their breaths hitch with surprise once the seawater parts… no.

A platform rises from under the sea. It looks beautiful. The mermaid fountain on the stone platform appears breathtaking, with droplets of seawater glimmering on its surface.

“You see,” Nik clears his throat. “I’m having a tough time planning the wedding. The Water Tribe, Fire Nation, and the Earth Kingdom have different traditions, and I’m trying to fuse them.” He looks at the mermaid fountain, sighing. “I haven’t done a good job until now. This mermaid statue is supposed to signify… well… I just thought of you girls when I carved it. I don’t know what it signifies.”

He looks at the Ty Sisters again.

“I realized… this is something I will never be able to get done right alone. Will you help me… prepare for your wedding?”

Their eyelids jump as they quickly stand. Expectations blaze in their gazes as Nik grins. He conjures seven spheres of water. The sisters observe something within each sphere.

“Will you marry me?” Nik inquires as the seven bubbles of water revolve around him.

“Well…” For all their eagerness, the question stumps them all the same. Blushing and looking away, the girls share the same giddy embarrassment.

“Huh, I see.” Nik deflates. “I read your aura… it’s almost repulsed.”

“What?!” Ty Lee(7) snaps, wildly looking around. “No, it’s not! It’s the reddest—”

She shuts up under her elders’ glare.

“The reddest, eh?” Nik smirks as he approaches them. Fidgeting, Ty Lee squints with an irritated pout. Can you blame her? She isn’t thinking straight. Neither are her sisters!

Nik quietly walks around them as the seven blobs of water float near their necks. The girls can see their chokers.

“So?” Nik whispers. “Will you marry me… Ty Lee?”

The girls blink before looking at each other and grinning. That’s more like it.

“I will!” Ty Lee giggles, tears glimmering in the corner of her eyes.

“Lemme take a snap!” Ty Lin(1) yelps. “Ty Lee, you’ll be responsible for my photo.”

Ty Lee eagerly nods as Nik rolls his eyes.

Their obsession with taking pictures was… well, cute. Besides, Nik also intended to take hundreds of shots in dozens of positions.

“Did you ask us to the beach to do us after, bitch?” Ty Woo(6) suddenly grins.

“Nope. Not everyone,” Nik shrugs. “Just you, bitch.” He leans over to Ty Woo. His whisper tickles her flushed ears. “Will you marry me and be my bitch for the rest of our lives?”

Ty Woo lowers her head, floundering under her sisters’ mocking stares.

“W-well, if you insist!” She scoffs. “But I’ll only be your bitch! Don’t expect me to act like Azula!”

As it is written, Azula always catches stray shots.

“Noted,” Nik poses with Ty Woo for the picture before continuing.

He… it’s the first time for Nik to get engaged consecutively… seven times!
