Hospital del Corazón Rojo, Venezuela.
Rosarita hummed a soft tune as she sat beside the comatose Diego. Garcia was at school, remembering nothing about getting kidnapped due to Nik’s grace of altering the boy’s memories. The dark-haired maid methodically peeled the apples from the basket before eating them.
Despite the devastating loss of their mansion, the Lovelace Family, with their prudent financial management, had enough in the bank to support Diego’s admission into a hospital and provide for other necessary amenities.
‘It’s almost been seven long… agonizing days,’ thought Rosarita. Nik became an anchor for her being. Her mind constantly replayed their last conversation where he demanded Rosarita to be his for… whatever he wished—hopefully, something nasty, titillating, and downright audacious. However, the lack of further communication worried her.
Rosarita couldn’t have scared the man off, right? She couldn’t imagine someone with enough audacity to fork out a threesome from her and Rundy to run with his tail tucked between his legs.
‘But I can be scary sometimes…’ Rosarita bit her bottom lip, revealing her sharp teeth. ‘Should I assume the worst?’
Rosarita’s life was the collection of the worst experiences. So, she couldn’t help but possess such thoughts.
She wanted to serve the Lovelace Family. However, it was ‘Roberta’ who wished for such things. Only after that oddly comforting conversation with Nik did Rosarita realize ‘Roberta’ was a figment of her innermost needs.
Rosarita loved peace… so much that she let the rotten monsters of this world influence and paint her in their colors. Nik allowed Rosarita to confront her guilt; with that, he became her grounded reality. Not to mention… his promise of possessing several leashes in his collection for the likes of her was as fresh in her mind as the sensation of his hot loads she filled her with alongside Rundy.
‘But… why didn’t he call?’ Palpable malice filtered into Rosarita’s stone-cold blue eyes. She crushed the next apple slice in her mouth, allowing her beautiful features to contort into an ominous scowl.
No way she scared that man off. She’s seen him in worse conditions… Rosarita had watched him against more dangerous monsters. She didn’t hold a candle to that man.
‘Is it my teeth?’ Rosarita frowned. ‘Did Rundy fill Nik’s mind with nonsense about how I might tear his cock out?’
The maid clenched her gloved hand, accidentally squashing the rest of the apple.
“I might die… but I’ve decided…” she exhaled. Obsession flickered in her gaze. Sure, that man can have as many lovers as he desires. Fuck! She’ll help him bang those sluts if he ever called for her services. However…
“Nobody gets him if I can’t…” she snarled in a hushed tone, afraid of waking Diego from his ‘nap.’
Yes. It might kill Rosarita to try and kidnap the man before forcing him to love her and fulfill her dream of having five, no—seven kids! He might hate her… but she was willing to fight for her dream! In the wise words of one fabled Baba Yaga—you cannot be a lover if you are not a fighter. Because what kind of love do you have if you aren’t willing to fight for it?
“I’m flattered.” Rosarita heard an amused voice beside her. “And I would never harm you.”
Rosarita idly looked to her side. It wasn’t the first time she heard the voice. It was Nik.
She met his violet orbs and matched his smile.
“You won’t?” she questioned her hallucination. Sure… she stopped hallucinating ‘Rosarita.’ However, Rosarita now hallucinated Nik whenever she clocked out for the day. He would lay beside her, looping his arms around her, and tenderly peck her forehead as she dug into her naughty cunt before cumming her brains out.
“Of course not,” Nik grinned. He then thought about something before addressing it. “However, I hope you can be kind and understanding towards my fiancees. Even someone like Azula shows care for others in her way… And I think you will love meeting Yue and others.”
Oh, lord!
Rosarita almost gasped. Her case was getting worse. She started hallucinating the names of Nik’s fiancees!
“Should I heal Diego now, Roberta?” Nik questioned with a smile. “It just so happens I have the best way to heal the man. Heh. I can practically heal anything given enough time.”
Rosarita’s expression froze.
“Nik?” She called out to her hallucination.
“Yea?”
“What did you just call me?”
He rolled his eyes.
“I get it, okay? I’ll call you Roberta from now on.”
That wasn’t the point.
See?
Rosarita, like Rundy and others, realized she was a wild mutt with a few screws loose in her head. You could say she was self-aware about her self-destructive tendencies. However, her hallucination, being a figment of her mind, always cooed the name ‘Rosarita’ into her ears during her lonesome nights.
So, why would Rosarita’s current hallucination call her ‘Roberta?’
“Nik?” she swallowed a lump. It couldn’t be. Did she just allow her intrusive thoughts on her lips with Nik by her side? N-No! She was joking. She wasn’t going to kidnap the man. At worst… she would have lured him with food.
“Yea?” He blinked again.
“Kiss me,” she wet her lips at those words before meeting his brightening violet orbs.
“It would be my pleasure, Roberta.”
Rosarita’s breath hitched as he neared her before pressing his soft lips against her plump ones. Her core shuddered at the soft nasal exhale as their tongues swiftly coiled. Nik’s broad palm tenderly stroked her cheek and jaw before holding her hand. It was too sweet!
Her heart could barely take it as it hammered into her bosom.
She pulled back with a heavy flush.
“I-It’s really you?” She gasped, lowering her head. Please! For the love of Lovelace Saints! Why did her meeting with Nik have to be with such words leaving her mouth?!
“When did you get in here?” She stammered.
“From the door?” Nik tilted his head. “You were so focused and looked kind of cute. However… Id didn’t think you wanted to kidnap me.” He grinned in amusement. “Should I go back? I’ll text you my location and set a few of Sofia’s men as guards. You know what? We could use the Nerf guns.”
“Please,” Rosarita didn’t match his gaze. “Call me… Rosarita…”
Nik deadpanned.
“Sure,” he dryly mumbled. “But is it the last time you’re changing your name? I need to know these things before we continue.”
“Continue? What?” Rosarita peaked at him.
“Our relationship? I hope you didn’t expect me to ask you just to be my maid. I want to know you, Rosarita.” He grinned. “So? What do you think? Should I heal Diego now? I have classes starting tomorrow… and also have to visit China.”
Rosarita stalled.
“Why China?”
Nik shrugged.
“I think it’s better if I confirm things with Shenhua now. That way, we can all have a proper introduction at once. I also planned a sparring session with everyone so that others could understand each other since only Kaguya and Irina can communicate in multiple languages.”
This was DEFINITELY not a hallucination since Rosarita had no idea who this Kaguya was. But knowing the women around Nik, like herself, she expected all of them to be the vilest sluts in existence.
“They aren’t!” Nik narrowed his eyes.
“What?” Rosarita looked at Nik.
“Don’t ‘what’ me!” He scoffed, largely unbothered. “I know you just dissed my lovers in your head. You know what? I’ll let them change your mind with their actions. They are all… kind and thoughtful, like you.”
Blushing at the sudden compliment, Rosarita looked away.
“I’m not thoughtful… I just spoke about kidnapping you and doing nasty things with you…”
“Ain’t that thoughtful?” Nik smirked. “Why wouldn’t I feel comfortable around someone who likes me so much?”
Rosarita frowned.
“Are you not aware of Love Crimes? Lovers kill each other because of their obsession.”
“Nah. I think that’s a mental illness,” Nik shrugged. “Besides, I’m not scared of love. Scratch me, bite me, or stab me. It’s all in good health as long as it’s consensual.”
Rosarita remained frozen. The juice of the squashed apple dripped on the floor as she questioned feebly, eventually recognizing that Nik might have a few screw loose, too.
“How did you find us?”
“I thought about texting you. Then I realize it’s better to surprise you. So, I used my compass.”
“I see,” Rosarita nodded. She didn’t understand shit.
“Hmm. As for Diego…”
Nik stood over the unconscious man. Glimmering golden fire erupted around Nik’s hand before covering Diego’s head.
“Oh. The injury wasn’t that serious. Barely took more than healing Saki’s eyesight.”
‘Another slut,’ Rosarita noted. However, she realized they all can’t be THAT bad. It was Nik. He didn’t attract the filthiest…
Rosarita looked at her hands before realization dawned on her face.
‘Oh, saints!’ Her breathing hitched. ‘Nik IS the kind of man to attract our bunch.’ It wasn’t just his power. Rosarita peaked at the man. Golden flames reflect a soft golden glow over the man’s kind features. Rosarita recalled her night with him and Rundy…
Nik was undoubtedly kind. However, it wasn’t as simple as opposites attracting each other. She recalled the feeling of undeniable sobriety within the man. Rosarita felt Nik’s guilt, which felt all but lost now.
She recalled what hooked her to this man.
‘He always stands back up. He never gave up on himself.’
To Rosarita, THAT was the ultimate self-kindness.
“There.” Nik clapped his hand before looking at her. He grinned. “I’m glad I met you, Rosarita. And I hope we get along from now on.”
Rosarita nodded before swallowing another lump.
“Um… you promised me something…” she began.
“Hmm?”
She nervously clenched her gloved hands. Hopefully, her relentless demands from the man don’t ruin things before they begin.
“You promised me… a leash…”
“Oh, that!” Nik laughed, and he sat beside her. “I was referring to the engagement collars. The world I visited before had this tribe with the tradition of offering handmade collars to your fiancee.”
Rosarita’s heart thumped powerfully, almost leaping out from her throat.
“You want to marry me?” She snapped with equal parts desire and incomprehension. At best, Rosarita expected herself to be Nik’s… tool. Maybe accept his children, too.
“Not now,” he laughed.
Rosarita’s disappointment was immeasurable, and her day was ruined. She was going to ruin everything—
“I want to take you out on dates, learn more about you, and sweep you off your feet before even thinking of marrying you. That’s the least I can do for asking such a commitment from your side.”
Stunned, Rosarita matched Nik’s pleased violet orbs.
“Well, that sounds like a marriage confession,” a dry chuckle broke their moment as Rosarita snarled in frustration. “Not now, Master—”
She stopped before looking at the kindly smirking Diego.
“Master! You’re awake!” She hurriedly left her seat, fussing for the man before quickly turning to Nik.
“Nik- ah, Mister Nik was here, I mean, Nik was here— you are well! Does it hurt anywhere? Just a moment, Nik! I mean, yes— Master, I have some apples— Nik, have my fruits— no, it’s not what I mean—”
Nik and Diego watched the short-circuited Rosarita fumbling with smoke oozing from her ears.
Who would have thought kindness and love could be such a weakness?
“Thank you for healing me, Nik. I’m indebted to you.”
Nik grinned. “No worries. I could help, so I did. I hope you don’t mind me poaching Rosarita.”
“It’s not an issue,” Diego replied. “I always wanted her to marry a good man. I know her father would want the same.”
“It’s not like that, Master! I would never betray your trust! N-no, I’m not rejecting you, Nik. Of course, yes! Ah… I… I’m tired…”
Rosarita sat down. Dazed.
“Is Garcia…” Diego cleared his throat.
“I took care of the man that attacked your home,” Nik smiled. “Garcia is safe. I don’t know his current location. He’s maybe in the school. I just arrived here.”
“I see… I’m sorry you have to take such long flights.”
“Flights?” Nik blinked. “I just ran over here.”
This snapped Rosarita out of her thoughts.
Nik continued with an eager grin.
“Koro taught me all about the ins and outs of atmospheric pressure. I can produce a fraction of his speed with enough concentration.”
His airbending progressed further as Koro helped him understand the concept behind manipulating ‘air.’
Now?
Nik can crush his opponent with atmospheric pressure.

Rosarita led Nik and Diego to the apartment she shared with Garcia before Nik stayed for another few hours for an invitation for lunch. Garcia’s return was met with another heartwarming moment of the boy crying in her father’s embrace. Meanwhile, Rosarita continued peaking at Nik. She already felt restless.
Her dismissal from the Lovelace Family’s service would have been more complicated without Diego’s presence. Garcia was clingy, and Rosarita didn’t have the heart to ignore the boy’s pleas. But now he had someone—his father.
“Did you pack everything?” Nik questioned smilingly.
Rosarita nodded under Garcia’s sad gaze.
“Um… Roberta… take care of yourself.” The boy mustered.
Stopping, Rosarita looked back and offered a pleasant smile.
“I will, young master. Only in sound mind and body can I protect Nik from the likes of Rundy.”
Nik, Garcia, and Diego’s expressions froze as she turned around and walked outside with her luggage sent into the Sweet Mango Scar of Infinity.
“Her name is Revy,” Nik sighed. But… he also expected Revy to call Rosarita a wild mutt.
‘Let’s go and meet Shenhua.’ Nik shrugged before waving at the father-son duo. It would be their last meeting. He wished to invite them into his Scar of Infinity. However, Diego politely refused it. He did not want to be the man to end the Lovelace Family’s legacy from this world.
Nik understood where Diego’s thoughts stemmed from. After all, this world was different from Avatar’s. The latter was war-torn, and the bulk of Nik’s citizens stemmed from Reaper’s victims who had nowhere else to go. Meanwhile, this world was the opposite. It flourished even more after the moon’s destruction since several men and women thought the end of the world was near and wanted to go out after performing several good karmas.
Diego saw an opportunity in such a world to rebuild the Lovelace Family.
“Did you truly run on water?” Rosarita questioned Nik once they walked further on the beach.
“It was faster,” Nik explained. “Essentially, I wrap myself in a protective atmospheric layer for air and other necessities before thinning the pressure around me. I can only maintain such speed in a straight line. Additionally, the atmospheric layer around me also becomes tougher and cuts through any accidental obstructions without hurting me. Do you remember Koro? Yellow tentacles?”
Rosarita nodded. Again, she understood shit.
“Koro’s body hardens at more significant pressure. That’s how he travels so fast without hurting himself. I copied something similar. But my body is too frail to endure all that to emulate his actual speed. Anyway, here.”
Nik extended his hand to Rosarita.
“I will send you inside. Yue and Kaguya will be waiting for you. Believe it or not, Kaguya became one of my most responsible aides in days.”
Seeing Rosarita narrowing her eyes, Nik chuckled and interlocked his fingers with hers.
“Just… give them a chance. I promise you won’t feel lonely, Rosarita.”
Rosarita lowered her head, a little guilty about her selfish thoughts.
“I’m sorry…”
“I’m not mad,” he shrugged. “So, don’t apologize. And don’t force yourself. I won’t mind if you don’t get along with others. It would just mean you’ll have a separate life with me if you want something like that.”
Rosarita looked at Nik as he flashed her a sincere smile. “I’m just glad you’re with me.”
That’s almost too unfair. Rosarita didn’t even have the chance to lean away from that captivating kiss as she closed her eyes. Soon, she felt his lips disappear from her puckered ones, and the sensation of his fingers was nowhere to be felt.
“Oi, you mutt. What’s with those lips?”
Rosarita’s eyes snapped open as she observed the unfamiliar surroundings. She looked at two unfamiliar faces and one familiar one.
“Rundy,” Rosarita grunted.
“It’s Revy,” the brunette grinned. “I expected Nik to toss your freshly-fucked body in here. Tch. He’s losing his touch.”
Yue appeared confused at Kaguya’s surprised yelp.
“Maybe he did,” Rosarita countered. “Anyone living with you for more than a day is expected to lose their touch. You aren’t that hard to fuck, Rundy. I suspect you cum all over the place with one kiss on the forehead.”
Kaguya’s blush deepened as Yue calmly patted the girl’s shoulder.
“Um, welcome,” Yue cleared her throat. Kaguya translated for Yue as Rosarita looked at the white-haired girl. Their blue eyes met as Yue introduced herself.
“I’m Yue. Nik asked me to help you settle.”
However, Rosarita had something else in her mind.
“Is that the engagement collar?”
Yue shook her head after hearing Kaguya’s words.
“It is an engagement choker.”
“Nah,” Revy smirked. “It would be a collar for this mutt.”
“Revy…” Yue pouted. “I will complain to Poppy and Michi about you if you don’t stop.”
Revy’s lips parted open. Even Rosarita looked intrigued as the brunette scowled.
“Shut it! I don’t care what those old bitches think of me! It’s not like they’re my mothers!”
Yue continued staring at Revy until the latter snarled.
“Fuck all of you!” Revy turned around, cursing. “I’ll fuck all you bitches senseless one of these days.”
Rosarita looked at Yue with a pleasant smile.
“I like you, Miss Yue. Pleased to make your acquaintance. I’m Rosarita.”
Nik was right. These girls didn’t have ‘that’ look. But Rosarita sensed the darkness in them all the same. She continued.
“How do I have Nik get me one of those collars?”
“An engagement choker?” Yue blinked, surprised by such forthrightness. However, this seemed to be the norm for other girls from this world.
“No, a collar.” The maid knew what she wanted.
