The way he cried while realising his life was spared and that he actually was about to die, was something special. Cillian is one of the greatest actors in my opinion and this show cements it.

I mean to me it seems 100% like part of Tommy's plan was for Campbell to run off and call his boss after Tommy got done shooting the military fella, and Polly can slip in and kill Campbell with nobody noticing because people are being assassinated and the king is in the house.
