I'm not sure if anyone mentioned it, but I'm wondering if the part of Richie almost killing that guy at the party was something the writers came up with or was it inspired by Jon Bernthal's real life story about how he was in a fight with this one creep and his friends. Jon punished that creep and that creep fell straight down to the pavement and that creep's friend start attacking Jon Bernthal. Jon's friend help him fight back and cops show up. The cops see that creep lying on the sidewalk in a pool of his blood. The police tell Jon if that guy doesn't wake up, you're done MF. Jon said he prayed and promised he will turn his life around, etc, That creeps ends up waking up. One year later, Jon is playing in The Walking Dead. The actor who played Richie was in season one of The Punisher. He's also going to play The Thing in the new Fantastic Four movie.

2024-06-12 03:13:20 +0000 UTCYeah i've heard a few different reasons why its labeled a comedy, so they got less competition at awards, or like i said anything around half an hour long they consider comedy. Its just frustrating cause it deserves to win best drama in the final award of the night at the emmys. Winning best comedy just doesn't feel as big.

2024-06-11 20:58:50 +0000 UTCYeah at all the award shows its always in the comedy section, which feels so wrong, i think the actor who plays Richie said its cause the episodes are around 30 minutes and that automatically places them as a comedy, which i find ridiculous.
