Um, I have noticed a drop in quality of my writing when it comes to Quest Maker this past week. I have also noticed that many parts were rushed (on patron advanced chaps) and I think that I will be taking a week off from Quest Maker.

Now, those of you who are familiar with me know that a week for me only means a break of 4 or 5 days at best since I am just... unable to stay away from the fanfic I am working on for more than that duration.

And when it comes to my promise of mass updates, since the break right now means that I will probably miss out the updates this weekend, I am capable of promising double the chaps at the very least which means a 6 chap mass update.

Again, I feel like a little time away from Quest Maker would do me good since I plan to end the ff on a total of 420-450 chaps at most, of which, 297 are already written on patron. So about... a year? Maybe earlier given the mass updates remain consistent.

I hope I haven't disappointed all of your trust in me by acting like this... but again, I honestly feel that just a tiny break would really do me and the ff good and I will be able to write more elaborate chaps with much clarity.

I also believe that this 'block' in writing about quest maker stems from the fact that we are at the second last part of the ff (including patron) and I am having a cold feat instinctively. On one hand, I want to end the ff with a banger. On the other, I... just feel selfish and want to prolong it because I fear ending the ff. It honestly keeps me awake at night and I feel quite silly about this but in the spirit of full disclosure, I want everyone to know what I feel as I write this notice.

Again, it's not because of shortage of ideas... Heh, in fact, I am planning to start a small spin-off (only about 20 something chaps) which will just be smut... and it may just work, hehe, but again, and I cannot stress this enough, I don't want to bitch out of quest maker because of stupid, silly fears.
