A little fun thing I noticed is the cat form he took, is the same one he took in the first episode. When he gets free, and goes to give that dude eternal sleep. He sees a cat in the the hallway that then jumps on the chair then we see Morpheus. Thought that was cool

2023-03-07 00:07:47 +0000 UTCOne aproach to the sandman is to see it as a collection of sometimes smaller and sometimes larger stories that all have to do with morpheus in some way. They seem unconnected in a way that you only realize once you look back at the collection as a whole how the stories and characters are intertwined. Calliope for examples is connected to the "task" morpheus mentioned he had for Lady Joanna Constantine in his conversation with Hob Gadling ( was it the 1800 version?), as well as the story of Orpheus and Eurydice and brief lives, which kind of is the beginning of the End of the Sandman Comics. All these stories for future seasons are kind of introduced and made possible by Calliopes Story in this eleventh Episode an i hope netflix gives them alle the future seasons to adapt the whole story and maybe some of the prequels. Anyway thats enough rambling, i only wanted to say thank you for the reactions and im already excited to see you reacting to s2! take care!
