Weird Patreon numbers changing: Transparency
Added 2023-10-17 05:52:21 +0000 UTCSo patreon says I have 231 members, but the reality is its around 77. I guess Patreon is trying to make it look like more backers to encourage more to join creators? I don't think its a great idea beacuse showing more support can turn people away from wanting to support, especially a more smaller creator or a small earning creator. I really don't think Patreon's CEO made the best move, to say the least.
Patreon chose to update its UI instead of fix it, and just lump all the free followers with paid subscribers, it's very strange.
If you're curious, just check in on graphtreon. Graphtreon is currently fixing to separate the numbers of free followers from paid subscribers.
Edit: I just made my earnings public so people can see what I earn on an active (non-paused) month!
With all this being said I'm grateful to all those who support me and have supported me in the past. With my own updates and changes going on currently, thanks for sticking with me during my growing pains while I a) Improve my art and b) make this patreon the best I can, and easier for all of us. 💜
