Sooo, something I thought you all would find funny is the bloody ADS I get from Google based on the things it thinks I’m interested in. When I watch YouTube videos, the ads I get shown are usually something like “are you TIRED of period discomfort?” Or “the best food you can feed your cat comes from XYZ company, order now!” Or even, “is your chronic asthma keeping you from living life to the fullest? Ask your doctor about XYZ medication…”
The things I have to Google in order to make my audios realistic and somewhat well-informed have me pegged as an asthmatic, accident-prone, menstruating cat owner with possibly an anxiety disorder and a love for vampire fiction books!! Haha. Ahhhh yes, the life of an ASMRtist.
The things I’ve had to Google include: fireman jargon, CPR technique, how to alleviate migraines, period cramps, how to stop a nosebleed, how to stop an asthma attack, how to install home security systems, police negotiation tactics, how to set a splint, medical jargon, and soooo much more. I feel like I need an honorary degree in some form of medical rescue! XD
I know we have a few fellow ASMRtists here in our Patreon community … what things have YOU had to Google for work??

2021-07-02 00:45:08 +0000 UTCOK so I’m not an ASMR artist….. but I wouldn’t move to Australia so I am on the Internet you know just minding my own business and I’m on YouTube looking up places to live in Australia right… Well so I am on the Internet just minding my business…. And I get this notification from whatever company and it’s saying the best places to live in Australia blah blah blah blah XYZ and I’m just like what why…. And also I’m a photographer so I’ll look up ya know…. Camera pieces and photography ideas and blah blah blah and I’m getting the same thing best camera parts for blah blah blah and XYZ and I’m just like seriously like PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE… thanks!😃😂

I have said for a while now that I've tricked the algorithm but totally didn't realize it was probably because of things I looked up for my own audios. Some of my searches have included: -how to pronounce nociceptor -what is the word I'm thinking of (because for whatever reason when I was trying to think of anesthesia all I could think of was euthanasia and that was NOT what I was trying to get across in that audio 😅) -what are normal O2 stats -what are the effects of low oxygen levels -what can cause a patient to suddenly pass out - "should you sedate person who is bleeding out?" -different fantasy creatures - "I need a fucking story idea" (I think writers block was hitting me hard that day) I know there's really weird ones but I don't remember what they are. Think I may have to start writing them down just so I can laugh about them later. 😂 I feel your pain Ben!!
