Chiaki's Gaming Party (Part 1)

(Girls to hairpins TF)

(Danganronpa)

“Sis? You sure this is a good idea?” Mukuro asked somewhat timidly as her much flashier (and currently also angrier) sister stomped through the halls.

“Of course it is! Stupid Chiaki, why did she not invite me?!” Junko snapped back.

“I-I mean… You don’t even really like games, do you? Not to mention, she said a few times that it was only for girls from her class and… well, you’re not that…”

“Who cares if I was invited or not?! I don’t care about stupid games, but I want the little shits to feel despair! Say a nasty rumor here, spill some cola on a console there, maybe leave some toys in the gamer girl’s drawers so people think she’s a slut like that annoying inventor girl… God, just imagine the misery!” The blonde almost drooled as she listed all of her ideas for sewing chaos… Before continuing her monologue while Mukuro just nodded along, blushing slightly as all these despairful ideas turned her on slightly, “So instead, we’re gonna make them despair in a bit of a different way… You made sure Nanami and the rest are currently at lunch, right sis?”

“Yep.”

“Great, then all we have to do is just sneak in, and… not sure yet, but we’ll see, yeah? Lots of ways to bully a neet like her…” Without further ado, the sisters made their way to Chiaki’s dorm room and using one of Junko’s many hairpins, picked the lock.

The inside was about what one would expect from someone with the title of “The Ultimate Gamer”, though it was definitely in a better shape than the chamber of say, Hifumi. Walls colored light yellow, a wooden desk, a bed, and a door leading to the bathroom, normal stuff. What did catch Mukuro and Junko’s attention, however, was… basically everything else. A middle-of-the-road TV with about five different consoles stacked on top of each other plugged into it, each one with two controllers if not more, not to mention all the handhelds thrown about the place, ranging from retro junk to stuff released only a year or two ago… and the merch, oh, the merch. The bed was full of different plushies of cutesy gaming mascots, while the shelves were adorned with a plethora of figurines. But to the surprise of the Despair sisters, the room was surprisingly clean… Though that revelation made much more sense once they looked over to a bin full of chips and sodas that seemed to be placed inside fairly recently… Guess even the biggest of gamers can clean up when they have guests over.

“Fuck, now I’m even angrier… I don’t even have any funny ideas on how to prank that gaggle of idiots, let’s just smash her consoles to pieces and be done with it…”

“Sure thing, sis.” Mukuro smiled ever so slightly, it wasn’t every day that she got the pleasure of plunging people into despair with her beloved sister, after all. In unison, both girls walked over to the pile of consoles and raised their legs, ready to smash all of them at once with one good stomp. Junko’s foot was the first one to come down, albeit Mukuro’s wasn’t far behind. With a millisecond of difference between the two, their shoes touched the appliances and…!

*zap!*

A bolt of electricity ran through the duo’s bodies, paralyzing them both as they fell to the floor.

“What the–?! It fucking hurt! It–” But Junko never finished this sentence. Mere seconds after the shockwave hit, both girls felt themselves shrink and harden, their bodies becoming wholly inanimate as they fell onto the soft carpet.

The world suddenly got so much larger, but instead of panicking, both girls were ecstatic! Admittedly, Junko did so much more than her quieter sister, but still! Not only did she ruin everyone’s day (after all, the shock had to do some damage to the consoles, right?) but this weird transformation wasn’t half bad either! The Ultimate Fashionista lost herself in the feeling of powerlessness, she was so small, tiny even… this was true despair! Sure, being able to move and cause havoc was great in its own right, but the blonde certainly didn’t mind the small change of pace. Just one question remained…

What did she actually become…?

The question would be answered, but not before the duo was forced to wait patiently for the room’s owner to come back. It was only ten minutes but to the Despair sisters, it felt like forever. The initial excitement and feeling of despair gave way to boredom… Hopefully they became something annoying at the very least, causing despair like this!

The wait did come to an end however, and after some clicking noises, the door opened wide and Chiaki came in, followed by all of her female classmates… all except one.

“Huh? Where’s the Saionji brat? Wait, I just lockpicked that stupid door, why is it working normally?!” Something was clearly amiss, but it wasn’t like either Junko or Mukuro could do anything at this point so instead, they waited to be noticed…

“Please, make yourself at home! It might be a bit tight but we should be able to fit all in, just make sure not to break anything!” Chiaki welcomed everybody, the gamer happy to have a gaming party with the friends she made over the last few months while at Hope’s Peak.

“Hey, Chiaki? Are these hairpins yours?” Akane said, pointing at the floor next to her where 2 pixelated pins laid - a white-and-black bear and a white-and-pink bunny.

“Oh, thank you! I was looking for these all day!” Chiaki turned on one of the consoles and then happily scooped the two accessories up.

Hairpins? What are you– H-hey, put me down! Mukuro shouted as a giant gamer girl hand reached down and scooped up her tiny, metallic form, a different hairpin right next to her. I-is that Junko?! Is that why she hasn’t talked at all?!

While the former Ultimate Soldier panicked slightly, her fashionista sister was in pure bliss from her realization. The door was locked, the consoles were fine, not to mention the most obvious thing of all, she and Mukuro became hairpins…

Everything we did was erased, it’s almost as if it never happened… If I’m guessing correctly, whatever that shock was, it erased our existence! Junko Enoshima and her dumb sister never existed! Fuck, this is so hot! So despairful!

While her friends were busy deciding what game they were going to play for the party, Chiaki went over to the bathroom and with the help of the mirror, put the pixelated bear Mukuro and pixelated bunny Junko on, giggling as the shiny accessories glittered.

While the Despair sisters haven’t managed to destroy anything, their actions did have a certain consequence, one they’d be able to freely observe from the height of Chiaki’s head as the party progressed…

And what a despairful party it was going to be~

8 girls left.

To be continued.
