I've actually convinced a couple of SFW artists to try drawing some gentle v*re and I always put disclaimers when I post them to make sure they aren't flooded with inappropriate requests. It's surprisingly effective! They tell me they almost never get them, and the very few times they do, they requesters are told no and go away. Most people actually do respect one's boundaries and it's quite possible to be v*re curious without diving headfirst I to the deep end.

The difference between plot and fetish is always cloudy (humans can make fetishes out of literally everything) but obviously sexualized stuff is easy to tell. It's perfectly okay not to want to go there.
