Chapter 109 [Vault]

A bit later, after Celera found what was sort of a high tech living room, Vados walked in with a complicated expression on her face. 

“Hmm? What’s wrong, Vados?” Celera asked, upon noticing her angels expression. 

“It…the food my lady, they are…not exactly the most…appealing” Vados said as she slowly brought the bowl she brought with her, from behind her back, causing Celera to glance at it, only to face fault. 

“What in the fuck is that?!”

“It is a type of soup made of centipedes from a world with no life besides centipedes” Vados explained, cringing at the food in the bowl. 

“...How far are we from the next planet? I am not eating…that” Celera said, disgusted at the mere thought.

Even Beerus wouldn’t think of eating something like that, and that was saying a lot, with some of the foods that man has eaten. 

“We will be arriving within the next minute, my lady” 

“Good, that’ll be my meal instead. Much better than whatever that atrocity is” Celera said as she got to her feet. 

The idea of eating a planet should have been disgusting to her, but…it wasn’t. She wasn’t sure if it was her nature as a Cosmic Entity, or if it was the Galactus part of her, but it didn’t bug her in the least. She knew it was necessary now, and she knew it was quite literally a part of her now. If she didn’t eat planets, she would be weakened by a good bit, and the universe would eventually become overrun with too many planets, leading to some serious issues. 

People may hate her for it, but it had to be done for the future. And eventually, should she reach a certain point, she’d become just like Galactus, and become the Lifebringer, and give the universe more life than she had ever taken from it, millions if not billions of times more. And when that time came, she’d reach an entirely new level of power, and be amongst the strongest beings in the multiverse. 

But for now? For now she had a planet to eat.

A bit later, the two had reached the planet. The solar system sized ship loomed over the planet, as the two left the ship, floating above the large planet. 

“Hmm, about 23.4 billion inhabitants, grossly overrun with all sorts of disease and war. A society that is destined to either die out, or spread chaos to other worlds, sowing even more discord and death. Has the ship already got all necessary data from them? They seem to have a decently advanced set of technology” Celera spoke, asking Vados towards the end. 

“It has. Roughly 83% of their technology is completely useless, but there is some notable advancements they have made” Vados replied as she floated besides her Lord. The two could sense the terror of the planet below, and it’s citizens. 

“Alright then, let’s do this” Celera said with a small sigh, as she reached her hand out, and a glow began to form around her. 

“Time to eat” Celera spoke in a powerful voice, as her power activated and the planet began to glow brightly. Celera opened her mouth as if she was about to take a bite, as the planet began to slowly break apart, forming into moats of light that flowed into Celera’s open mouth. 

The entire process took only a few moments, as Celera let out a pleasured sigh “Delicious~” 

“I’m glad you enjoyed the meal, my lady. And it seems you have gotten quite a bit of ki from that as well. Has your Odinforce increased as well?” Vados asked, as she had knowledge of all of her masters power, so that she could serve her better, and train her better. She may be weaker than Celera by a drastic margin, but martial arts and technique wise, she was superior by a vast margin, but that margin wouldn’t last long, knowing that her lady had talent and potential beyond any normal mortal. 

“It has, not by all that much, as the residents weren’t all that powerful physique and life force wise, but it is an increase nonetheless” Celera responded with a nod, which Vados smiled at. 

“I’m glad you are getting stronger, my Lady. Should we return to the ship, or would you like another meal?” Vados asked. 

“Nah, let’s get back, I’m pretty full at the moment” Celera replied, patting her muscular stomach. 

She really did feel “Full” which was basically just her having eaten enough planets for the moment, meaning she didn’t need to eat more, but she could if she truly had to. 

“Alright then, perhaps you’d like to begin our training? I know that you wish to learn Ultra Instinct, and such a skill takes practice. The sooner we begin, the better” Vados asked. Celera hummed before nodding slowly.

“Sure, might as well. I’ve got to get a feeling for my saiyan forms as well, and I’d like to gain the others that Kakarot held, such as Super Saiyan 3, God, Blue, and perhaps even that Super Saiyan 4 one too” Celera responded, as she did need to learn those forms. 

They’d be a huge power increase for someone like her, and were necessary for the future. She was already one of the strongest beings in the DC Multiverse, but more power was always welcome, and always needed. 

“Well then, I hope you’re ready, Master~” Vados said with a small smirk, which Celera blinked at. 

‘...I feel like I’ve made a grave mistake’

[...Months later]

“Master, it’s been months since we’ve arrived in this reality, don’t you think it’s time you get yourself a herald?” Vados asked Celera who was laying back on a couch, munching on some food as she watched the tv, which seemed to have been a gift from whatever reincarnated her. 

It had been months since she had been reborn in this new reality, and a few things had happened. 

For one, she had begun her training at the hands of Vados, and had been learning at…absolutely monstrous levels. To the point that even Vados was awed at the speeds at which her master was learning. She hadn’t mastered ultra instinct or anything, but she had reached the same level that Beerus had in it, which was a pretty decent level. 

She had consumed roughly 90 planets in the past 5 months, and had gained a massive boost in ki and the odin force. As the Odinforce (which is more like the Celeraforce) was basically life force, but a bit different in nature, as it was stronger, and had a relation to magic, allowing her to use it to supplement her lack of magical energy, mimicking it, which should theoretically allow her to use magical spells and such. 

Anyways, have Odinforce and Ki were both roughly double what they were before, and would only continue to increase with every world absorbed. 

The largest world she had consumed so far, was roughly 25x the size of Jupiter, which made is over 20,000 times the size of Earth. It housed quadrillions of citizens, and like the other planet, was destined to die out. The planet itself had little technology, and was home to an insect-like species that reproduced by massive amounts per pregnancy. Safe to say, she got a lot of ki from this planet. 

She had learned some new techniques under Vados, such as instant transmission, and a few others that the woman had known. She had even managed to replicate some of the most recognizable techniques, such as the Kamehameha, final flash, and a few others. One of them that she managed to replicate rather easily, was the Kaio-ken. Her Kaio-Ken was currently at 15x, and she planned on testing other forms, such as one that instead of being multiplicative, was to the power, increasing the power by a much higher amount, while theoretically being less straining. 

The other technique that she had naturally began to train, was her Super Saiyan Forms. Super Saiyan 1 was easy to master, and Super Saiyan 2 was as well. But Legendary Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 3, were both entirely different beasts, and would take a lot longer to master. And she still planned on getting Super Saiyan 4, God, Blue (or Rose), and potentially even ones like Ultra Ego, Instinct, and entirely new ones. 

The super saiyan forms were…qutie the monstrous things her hands, as she could basically make entire new forms entirely made around a power. Like Super Saiyan Odin, or Super Saiyan Cosmic, and others similar. That would be way down the line, though. 

Returning back to the conversation she was having with Vados, Celera raised an eyebrow at her favorite angel. 

“A herald? Hmm, I know I need a few eventually, but who should I pick for such a role?” Celera asked Vados, who smiled. 

“I’m glad you asked! I’ve got a list of notable individuals that could be good choices” Vados said as she handed Celera a high tech tablet like item, which she began to read over, in a language that was definitely not human. 

The list was as follows:

Braniac

Lobo

Larfleeze

Big Barda - Not recommended at the moment, due to her being a member of the Furies of Apocalypse.

Sinestro

“That is…quite the list, Vados. Big Barda is a big no at the moment. As while I could crush Darkseid like a bug, that man is annoying, and I’d rather not deal with the Gods breathing down my neck. But Braniac and Lobo…those two…have potential” Celera muttered as she thought them over. 

Lobo and Braniac were both perfect for the job, as Braniac already did what she did, but not for the same reasons. If she gave the being her offer, she was certain he would accept it. It’d just be a matter of making sure he stayed loyal, but with all the technology she had, she doubted he’d ever dare betray her. Her ship alone was more advanced than 99.999% of all technology in this multiverse, and she’d only continue to get more. 

Lobo traveled the universe as a bounty hunter, and was a good option as he did remind her of Surfer, albeit a bit more chaotic. He’d do well as her Herald though, and she was sure he would accept. 

Lerfleeze was an interesting one, as he was the only Orange Lantern out there, and was a powerful little thing, but he was also incredibly greedy, and didn’t like sharing, so she wasn’t sure how good of an idea that man would be. 

Sinestro would be another decent option, albeit she wasn’t sure how that would interact with the Green Lantern Corp and the Guardians. They were nothing to her, but those rings of theirs were powerful, and dangerous. There was a reason why it was on the list of things she’d like to get her hands on, alongside the other lantern rings, and several other powerful objects she could realistically use. 

Really, at the moment, it came down to Braniac and Lobo, as the two of them were both pretty perfect for the job. She would more than likely give them both the offer, but the real question was, who should she make her herald first?

After a few more moments of contemplation, she looked up at Vados, before speaking. 

“Say Vados…how do we go about getting into contact with Lobo?”

That’s the end of the chapter!

Celera has consumed her first planet, a few months have passed, and she’s been learning a bit. She’s also decided to get her first herald! Lobo is a pretty perfect fit for the position, and was the first one to come to mind when I thought of ones to choose. Braniac is another one that will likely be happening, as I really like the character, and I think he fits the role perfectly. 

Who else should be make her heralds? I’m limiting it to roughly 5. Normally Galactus would have only 1, but Celera is stronger than him, and making a Herald doesn’t weaken her in the slightest. And 5 of them would be the perfect amount for finding planets to eat, and some other stuff she plans on doing. 

She will be going to Earth eventually, but not for a while. 

This universe isn’t anyone DC universe, and will be using several forms of DC media as reference, Young Justice will be a big one. 

She’ll probably have 3 love interests or so, with Vados being a guaranteed one. Not sure who else to go with, give me ideas!
