In the beginning, there was nothing. No light, no darkness, no worlds, no life, simply…nothing. From that void of endless nothingness, came the first, the originator of all, and the Mother of all of Creation, Khaos. 

There was nothingness but Khaos, a mass of nothingness, a Void, THE Void, a void that all of creation would be born from. From her came the “Primordial” or “Protogenoi”, she was the first, but from her, came her children. The first of which was what would be dubbed as “Earth” but more often known was “Gaea”. 

Gaea had been the Earth itself, the first mass of matter, and the originator of life on Earth. Mountains grew, plants bloomed, and life began to slowly amass on her planetary form. But only after she had her own children, children that were born of her, and her alone. 

After Gaea was born, Khaos decided to give Gaea a “Great Dome” a sky that spanned the entirety of Gaea’s form, covering it all with it’s power. This Sky was what would become “Ouranos” the Primordial God of the Sky and the Heavens. 

After the unity of the Skies and Lands, Gaea gave birth to the Ourae, originally many, the Ourae were the Mountains of Earth, and the first of many children that Gaea would bring to life. 

Water soon pooled from the mists of the infinite Chaos, and formed the first seas of Earth that would then cover most of it’s previously rocky form. And just like Gaea and Ouranos, these seas formed their own consciousness, known as “Pontus” Primordial of the Sea. 

Then the deepest Abyss was born, a pit of evil below the surface of Earth itself, known as “Tartarus”. 

Soon, other Primordials would be born. Nyx, the Primordial the night skies. Erebos, the Darkness and Mist. Akhlys, Misery and Poison. From Erebos and Nyx, Aither was born, and was the “Upper Air” and Light. She had also given birth to other children, Elpis the Spirit of Hope, and Hemera, who was Day. 

From Gaea, many children were born, but none as well known and mighty as the Titans. The Titans were the successors of sorts to the Primordials, ruling the universe after the “Death” of Ouranos, a death that Kronos himself had caused. His “Death” was done by spreading him so thin that he could never reform, but not before he cut off the Primordials Genitals and tossed it into the Sea, an action that would bring many new species into form, and even a rather important entity.

And so, the rest is history. Kronos, Gaea’s youngest son, sired children with his wife Rhea, a fellow Titan. These children were Hestia, Goddess of the Heart; Hades, Eventual God of the Underworld; Poseidon, Eventual God of the Sea’s; Demeter, Goddess of Agriculture; Hera, Goddess of Woman and Marriage; And finally Zeus, the Eventual God of the Skies, Kingship, and various other concepts. 

Kronos would eventually be slain by these “Olympians” as they would be dubbed, killed in a war called the “Titanomachy” or the “Titan War”. A war between the Gods and Titans that lasted Ten years, and ended with the death of several Titans, imprisonment of others, and submission of even more. Not only that, but it marked the crowning of Zeus as the “King of the Gods”  and ruler of what was known as “Olympus”. 

Many more events occurred over the countless millennia since Khaos’s birth, and Zeus’s rise, including the birth of his various children, the conflicts with his brothers, him cheating on his sister-wife Hera, bringing forth various other children. This included demi-gods and even more Gods, such as Athena, Artemis, Apollo, Hermes, Persephone, and many many more. 

He wasn’t the only one who laid with mortals, with Poseidon having many of his own children, as did every other Greek God, with only Artemis, Hera, and Hestia not having any demi-god children. 

Throughout all of these years, one thing had always remained the same, and that was the complete dominance of the Olympians. But finally…that was all going to change. 

For in the infinite void, a being lay asleep in the absolute silence, a figure that was born of Khaos before even Gaea, and a being that was now awakening. A being not of this universe, a being of…Infinity, Dreams, and Domination.

Within a large space, infinite in size and just as chaotic, a small figure lay asleep, its eyes closed as it slept in the comfort of the warm space. Power passively exuded from it, as the figure slept in comfort. 

This figure had known nothing but this infinite void, for as long as it could remember, this was its home, at least, in this life it was. It remembered bursts of memories of another life, small bursts that revealed faces of individuals, names like “Percy Jackson” “Zeus” “Hera” “Artemis” “Kronos” and many more. But it remembered not its own name, or much else.

It had slept for billions of years, passively absorbing the power that this infinite “Gap” had constantly been absorbing, for this “Gap” was her domain, her home. The Gap as it was dubbed, was a unique place that not even Khaos herself had foreseen the creation of. 

This “Gap” had the rather unique trait born from the entity's own Dominant power, and that was that it was passively absorbing primordial energies from Khaos herself, fueling the beings own power with the power of the first Primordial. Khaos could, of course stop this at any moment, but she didn’t, for she wished to see what her true first child would do with the power that it was constantly absorbing. 

And it seemed that she would finally be finding out.

Within the Gap, the figure that had laid asleep for several billion years began to slowly stir. It had remained in a sort of hibernation since its birth, sleeping as it absorbed power, and comfortably enjoyed the warmth of its own home. But finally, after billions of years, the glow that surrounded the figure began to cease, revealing its small form, that was in fact, in the shape of a young girl. 

This girl had long dark black hair, and as she opened her eyes, she revealed powerful glowing dark grey eyes that shone with an emotionless light. 

She scanned her surroundings as she began to float around, her senses expanding as she applied her concept of “Infinity” on her own senses, spreading them throughout her domain, showing her every inch of its nearly infinite expanse. 

“...Home?” The figure muttered, as it looked around, tilting its head as a glow formed in front of it, and a shapeless feminine figure formed. 

“You’re finally awake, my child” The voice spoke, it was akin to several different voices speaking at once, both feminine and masculine, as it gazed upon it’s first child, a child that it didn’t even mean to create, one that seemingly had the influence of another soul upon her own. 

“...Mama?” The figure asked as the shapeless being giggled. 

“Yes love, I am Mama. But you may call me Mother Chaos” Chaos said with a coo. 

“...Mother Chaos? What…what is my name?” The girl asked who was now known as “Mother Chaos”. 

“A name? I suppose you don’t have one, do you?” Chaos muttered, realizing that she hadn’t actually named her first daughter yet. After a few moments of thought, and looking over her daughters small form, she smiled. 

“Ophis, your name shall be Ophis Ouroboros, for only you, amongst all of my children, can rival me in power, for only you are…Infinite” Chaos spoke, as Ophis blinked, flashes of memories rolling through her, her figure changing slightly to adapt to the name, taking the same form as the one she saw in her memories, clothes forming around her previously nude form as she gazed at her mother. 

“Ophis…I like it, thank you Mother” Ophis spoke, a small smile forming on her face. 

“I’m glad you like it, my little Dragon. Now, do you understand what concepts you preside over?” Chaos asked as Ophis tilted her head before nodding. 

“...Infinity, Dreams, and Domination?” 

“Exactly right, my daughter. You may unlock more in the future, but these are the ones that make up your form, once you lay foot upon the mortal world, you will be able to see the dreams of the denizens of Gaea. I’m quite certain you will be far more proficient in this realm than any other, even me” Chaos spoke to her daughter, who tilted her head. 

“Gaea?”

“Mmhmm, your younger sister. A world bustling with billions of little things called humans. I believe you will enjoy it, and you need not worry, should you ever wish to return to this…Dimensional Gap, you will be able to in but a moments notice, for this truly is your domain, and yours alone” Chaos answered, as she knew that this was her Daughters “Land” just as Hades ruled the Underworld, Zeus the Skies, and so on so forth. 

“Sister?”

“Ah, I suppose you’ll just have to learn about it all on Earth” Chaos said, understanding that her daughter was confused, and would only truly understand once she went to Earth and learned amongst the humans. 

“Why?” 

“You certainly are a questioning little thing, aren’t you? Just trust your mother, little dragon. Now, off you go, trust your mama and go and enjoy Earth” Chaos replied, sighing as she flexed her power, as a portal formed in front of the still confused Ophis. 

Staring at the portal, and then Chaos, Ophis walked over to the taller figure and gave it a small hug, before walking through the gate. 

Chaos, watching her daughter run off, couldn’t help but let out a little squeal “So cute!~” 

Ah...yes, it should be mentioned that when it comes to Ophis, Chaos was a…Daughter-con. For Ophis was her first child, and by far her most interesting (not to mention adorable), so she had been very protective of the girl, hence why none of her other children ever found out about their hidden older sister. 

Watching the portal shut, Chaos couldn’t help but hum “I do wonder how those little Gods will react to her, once they realize that none of the Divine Laws or rules that I had created apply to Ophis” 

Ophis was untouched by any rules, laws, or even “Fate” for her concept of Domination was…quite powerful, to the point that none could truly affect her mind, fate, or anything similar, only Chaos herself could, and she’d never do such a thing. 

Looking where the portal shut, Chaos just shrugged, and said one final sentence before leaving her eldest child's domain. 

“...I’m sure it’ll be fine”

Chaos had no idea how wrong she was, for the Gods, Titans, and not even the Primordials could prepare themselves for the coming of the “Primordial Dragon God of Infinity, Dreams, and Domination”. 

Afterall, what sort of Primordial of Domination would allow mere Olympians to rule over the Gods?

First chapter for this fic, not sure how well it’s written, as I was struggling with the beginning of it. I also...have never read Percy Jackson, besides the first two books, so my knowledge is pretty much built off of the wiki, fanfics, the tv show, and a couple of videos I watched. 

I’ve got absolutely no clue who the love interest would even be for a fic like this, as Ophis is…probably the most unique character I’ve made in terms of personality. As she is pretty emotionless, at least, in the beginning. She is also incredibly powerful. She’ll be doing some truly bonkers things with her concepts, like mimicking a certain honored one's ability with her concept of Infinity, using Domination on more than mere people, and more. 

More vault fics will probably come later today or tomorrow. As I’m about to go take a nap, SpiderGwen will be getting updated later today, and Daughter of God will be getting updated either later today or tomorrow.
