Staring at the screen in front of her, a confused woman read over the words several times over. Last thing she had remembered, she was reading a manhua called Against the Gods. It was a manhua that was recommended by a friend of hers, that followed a man named “Yun Che”. It was a Chinese story that was translated to English, and was…questionable at times. 

She disliked the main character, but loved the world itself. He was the cliche chinese cultivation protagonist that became incredibly arrogant, and constantly got defeated, only to get a miraculous power boost and come back to face slap whoever had defeated him before. 

The world itself was quite interesting, and housed all sorts of characters. The cultivation was also very easy to understand, and was quite powerful as well. 

[After death, you have been randomly chosen to reincarnate into a new world based off of your last form of media you had watched or read. In this case, that is the universe of “Against the Gods”. You have been granted a system that will allow you to gain immense power, and that is all. Enjoy your new life, in your new world…Li Fenghua]

The woman blinked at the name, as one final thought entered her brain, as she was pulled away, everything going dark only a moment later, as she disappeared from the infinite void, it’s endless darkness returning once more.

Within a large, ever expanding forest, a beautiful woman lay against a massive tree that ascended high above the others. This woman had long beautiful crimson hair, a toned, muscular physique, a tall, 6’0 form, and a figure that many others would be jealous of. Slowly, her eyes began to creep open, revealing softly glowing eyes. This was our protagonist, Li Fenghua, the recent reincarnator who had just been reborn in the universe “Against the Gods”. 

Opening her eyes, Fenghua began to look around, a scowl on her face as she remembered her being reincarnated, not to mention the name that was…strange to her. She had been American in her past life, so to have a Chinese name was definitely a change. 

Getting to her feet, Fenghua blinked as a notification appeared in her vision. 

[Congratulations on your reincarnation, host! I am known as the “Sign In System”, I have the following capabilities and uses:

Sign In - Once per month, the user can “Sign In” for a reward (or rewards). This reward will be decided on where the user signs in at, the stronger the location, or the more important it is, the stronger the reward. These rewards can range from cultivation techniques, cultivation energy, bloodlines, legacies, other techniques, and more. From both the current universe and other universes, even none Cultivation ones. Currently the user has the ability to sign in for the first time. 

Status - A status that keeps track of the users current cultivation level, age, bloodlines, legacies, “Body”, and more. 

Music - Allows the user to listen to all music from their previous life through the system. 

The user has also been granted absolute immunity to mind reading, control, scanning, etc, in order to protect the users memories of their past life.

Reading the explanation, Fenghua raised an eyebrow ‘A sign in system? How…cliche. But I guess this is a good thing for me, as it’s easy to use, and won’t make me completely reliant on the system in order to grow, like so many other protagonists in those fanfics did’

A Spatial Ring - A ring that is around 25 Miles (40 kilometers) large inside, allowing the user to hold all sorts of stuff inside.

[A species from the Highschool DxD universe. Grants the user a new and unique energy known as “Demonic Energy”. Thanks to the user also getting a new bloodline, the user can now also use the power of Destruction. Due to the traits and uniqueness of the users current universe, they can now cultivate not only “Profound Energy” (The energy used in ATG) but also cultivate Demonic Energy in the same way, increasing it’s power faster than a normal devil, and in new and unique ways. It is up to the user to find out what changes this may bring]

‘Wait wha-’ Fenghua couldn’t continue her thought process as a pain filled gasp ripped out of her throat, as she grit her teeth and dropped to the grassy floor, veins bulging as she felt the worst pain she had ever experienced in her life, every small part of her body felt like it was on fire as pain coursed through her entire being.

She groaned in pain as she did her best to hold back the scream that was threatening to rip from her throat, gripping the grass floor as her back arched in pain. 

But slowly…she began to feel a great change begin to flood her being. 

She could feel a new burst of power begin to slowly fill her being, as it covered her entire form. It was…euphoric, it felt…powerful, demonic, and so very right. She could feel both her new Demonic Energy deep within her being, running through her new profound veins. 

Profound veins were like a set of veins that ran through the body, carrying the wielder's profound energy. ALL humans had profound veins, and it was these veins that allowed the user to cultivate, and should they be damaged, so too would their cultivation be. There are other forms and special types of profound veins that allow the user to cultivate faster, have purer profound energy, or a host of other unique abilities. In essence, it was another “Bloodline” and an incredibly important trait in the universe of ATG. 

And Fenghua’s were more special than any other, as demonic energy now flowed throughout these veins, that made them more than just normal old profound veins, turning them into “Demonic Profound Veins” of sorts. 

Letting out soft pants as the pain began to finally cease, Fenghua began to get to her feet, as she felt the new power rolling through her being. The power that made her clench her fist with a grin slowly forming on her face, as she could feel the innate power within her. At this, she summoned her status, her eyes widening in surprise at what she saw.

‘Futanari? Huh…I guess I wasn’t even paying attention, but it does look like I’ve got one’ Fenghua thought with a blink of surprise, looking down and pulling up her pants a little, whistling at what she saw. 

‘Futanari indeed…’ Fenghua thought with a nod, happy with the addition, before sighing. 

‘Peak 5th Level Nascent Profound huh…not bad for a start I guess. And I can only assume they jumped to these levels due to the assimilation of the new bloodline and the opening of all of my profound entrances? Either way, I’ll need to get my hands on some new cultivation techniques quickly, otherwise I’ll fall behind Scum Che’ Fenghua thought as she began to walk, her senses now far stronger than before, making her far less nervous than she would have been originally. 

‘System, where am I exactly? I’d like to go to Floating Cloud City if possible, there’s only one proper place I can go to sign in for the first time’ Fenghua asked the system inwardly, as it responded a few moments later. 

[Currently the user is in a forest only a few minutes walk away from Floating Cloud City, where the story begins. Keep walking in the current direction, and the user will get to their target]

‘Huh, looks like I’m a lot closer to my target location than I initially thought I was. At this rate I’ll get a proper cultivation technique pretty soon. And if my assumption is correct, then all I need to do is sign in where she appeared, and the system will do the rest’ Fenghua thought, remembering the one who made Yun Che so powerful, and where she appeared, which would be the perfect first sign in location. 

Looking around, Fenghua smiled with one last thought on her mind, as she continued to walk through the forests, and that was…

This is my first vault fic on a Cultivation/Chinese story, so I don’t blame y’all if you have no idea what you’re reading, so I won’t be surprised if this one doesn’t get much traction/likes. 

To those that do read ATG, how was it? My knowledge on it isn’t perfect, as I only read the first 600 chapters of the Manhua, and never read the novel. I’m currently rereading it, so I’m catching up knowledge wise. 

This will likely be a harem story, but…I have no clue who to pair her with. I was thinking of going with Xia Qingyue (as unlike what I thought, she is NOT evil in the novel), but I am honestly not sure. There really just isn’t a lot of good waifu’s in this universe. If it was Soul Land then it would be way easier (As I actually like some of the potential love interests in that universe), but this is ATG where romance is…kinda dogshit lol. 

What other universes should I make vault fics for? I’ve got ideas in regards to: Solo Leveling, Battle Against the Heavens, Overgeared, and UnOrdinary.
