Chapter 148 [Vault]

Stepping into the office of one of the most powerful telepaths in the entire universe, Diana immediately noticed that he was not alone. Standing in the room was also Hank, aka Beast, and Scott, aka Cyclops. 

There were two others in the room that caught her attention, for they were two of the three women in this school that she was very interested in, they were…

Jean Grey and Rogue

‘Seems that she has gotten the Phoenix Force as I suspect, albeit without any knowledge of it. Training her in control will be a must in the future, lest she let the Dark Phoenix out, dooming many lives’ Diana thought, not wanting the Dark Phoenix storyline to play out. Her knowledge in regards to it was limited from her past life, but she knew that the Dark Phoenix was bad news, and that it was in her best interest to stop it from happening.

Rogue on the other hand, was an interesting individual, as she wasn’t sure if her powers could be siphoned by her or not, something she would be interested in testing down the road. She was sure that it wouldn’t negatively harm her, as she was functionally immortal in several ways, thanks to magic, chakra, and her own inborn immortality from being a demigod.

Sitting in the middle was Xavier, who looked at her in intrigue. 

“It is nice to meet you, Miss Diana Prince, I am Professor Charles Xavier, principal of this school. I hear that you wish to offer funding and offer financial aid?” Xavier asked, as he had no idea who this woman was, a woman that had a mind that was absolutely impenetrable, as he attempted to look into her mind. 

Noticing this attempt at intrusion, Diana frowned “I would appreciate it if you didn’t attempt to look into my mind, Charles Xavier. Others have tried, and it never ends well” Diana said, remembering the time one of her amazon’s had slapped the head off of a mutant that had attempted to mind control her. 

The mutant in question was working with the Nazi’s, and had caused the deaths of thousands of Jews, so not a good person. She would have preferred to make him suffer, but she was glad he died that way either way.

At her words, the group tensed as Charles realized he made a mistake. 

“I apologize, it has become a rather bad habit of mine. I shall not do it again” Xavier replied, noticing the cold glint in the woman’s eyes. 

“But as for your statement, yes. I wish to invest a…pretty penny into this school, but more specifically, its students. As I believe that they deserve more than what they are currently receiving here” Diana responded, ignoring the looks she was getting from the others. 

Had she been in a worse mood, she would have been insulted, and as a Queen…that isn’t a good thing for those that insult her. But she was in a good mood, and she also knew their reactions, for the most part, were justified. 

“What do you do that earns you enough for something like that?” Jean couldn’t help but ask on the side, as she, like the others, had never heard or seen this woman before. And with the sort of funding that would be needed to build something like what she was speaking of, she’d need to be worth billions.

In response, Diana looked at Jean with a soft smile “Let’s just say that not all the companies you know of, are truly owned and run by those you think they are, little bird” Diana said, Jean blinking at the little bird part, while Xavier paled.

‘Hmm, so he does know of the Phoenix. Seems this is one of those situations in which he “Sealed” the Phoenix away, causing all her negative emotions to build up within it, turning it into the Dark Phoenix. Problematic to say the least, but I believe I can undo all the ignorant decisions the man has made, should I go about it in the proper way’ Diana thought, knowing that she had to be VERY careful when involving the Dark Phoenix. 

“Oh? And what companies would they be, sugar~?” Rogue asked, looking over the woman with interest clear in her eyes. 

‘Well now that is interesting. Seems she’s more in line with the old X-Men cartoon personality wise, and it also looks like she and Gambit aren’t an item’ Diana thought, more and more interested in the differences in this universe. 

Her spies mostly focused on the big stuff, not things like the personality of the individuals she had them watch, or their significant others, unless said otherwise. Thus, she didn’t know whether or not Rogue was any different or not. 

“I’ll let you all figure that one out, but I believe it won’t take long. All I’ll say is that I am in control of some of the most powerful companies on planet Earth” Diana said simply, as she turned back to Xavier, and began to continue. 

“I will fund this school with a donation, one that will be more than enough to create the proper facilities for your students to truly learn to use their gifts, beyond simply learning some mundane things like history or math. I will only do this if you use a portion to build this facility, and on the condition that I am allowed to visit this school, and watch them learn” Diana said, as Xavier went silent, with Storm speaking up. 

“How much are you donating?” Ororo asked, as Diana looked at her, before smiling. She was quite literally a trillionaire, so money was no issue to her. Her kingdom had a treasury with enough gold to buy countries and fund the entire world, a simple donation was nothing. 

“One Billion Dollars” Diana replied simply, as their eyes shot wide. That amount was…far beyond their total budget for the school…for an entire year. That amount would change things massively, improving the lives of every student, and making the school much safer. 

“I will add more should I believe these children are receiving the education they deserve. Should they not be, I will not fund anymore, and will do everything in my power to take them to somewhere they can get that education” Diana added, as she was not afraid to do so. She was 100% certain that the parents would accept once they heard of the sort of teachings their children would gain, the teachings from people with knowledge far surpassing the best in the world. 

“Is that a threat?” Scott asked on the side with a scowl. He didn’t trust Diana at all, nor did Logan and Hank, which the latter was mostly because he had never heard of someone like Diana. 

“No it is a promise, Scott Summers. I do not fear any of you, nor do I fear those that wish to bring you down, like that foolish boy Max” Diana said, remembering Erik, aka Magneto. He also had the name Erik, but it was a fake name he had used while in the concentration camp during his young days in World War 2. 

“I simply wish for the best for the children. And if this school proves to not be the best, then I will bring them somewhere I know that is, and trust me, you are lucky I have not already brought them there” Diana said, as her kingdom had schools that surpassed any in the world, teaching magic, chakra, haki, science, and every art that was in her kingdom, only to those that could actually learn and use them though, and this was mostly for the younglings. 

“Will you accept this donation and the conditions involved?” Diana asked, staring the man down, ignoring  the tense atmosphere as the man slowly opened his mouth and replied. 

“...I accept”

Hearing the response, a smile formed on her face, as she got to her feet and shook the man's hand, only a few words coming from her mouth. 

“I hope to have a good partnership…Professor”

Basically just them talking about the deal and that is about it. 

Diana is going to have a decent harem of around 5-8, with a couple “concubines”. At least, in this world, she’ll probably have more in future worlds as this will be a multiverse fic.

Likely members - Emma Frost, She Hulk, Susan Storm, and Wanda. 

Maybe - Hela. 

Concubines (Likely) - Irene Belserion, Artoria Pendragon, Thalia Al Ghul. 

Give me ideas for future groups to be summoned! As of now Sci Fi characters aren’t allowed yet. 

I plan on updating some vault fics that have chapters partially written by me, some of these being quite old. Mostly to just finish those up.
