It was later the next day, and Klaudia was driving through the streets of Chicago to her new home. She ended up buying a house across from a certain family and had it spruced up. She was driving a car she had sent down here specifically for this, a rather nice car, but not supercar nice. 

Driving into the south side, Klaudia ignored the looks her car was getting, as she pulled in the neighborhood of her new home, a grin traveling onto her face as she pulled up to her house, while noting a house across from it.

While her own home was half decent, the inside at least.

Smiling, she got out of her car, shut it off and locked it, before walking up to her door and opening it. Walking in, she smiled at the new home, it was small, but it reminded her of her past life and growing up, except way nicer, and not nearly as shitty.

[In a certain home, a little earlier]

“So, any idea who the new neighbor is?” A red-headed teen asked another teen of similar age. 

“No clue, but whoever they are, they’ve got taste, and got some cash too” The other replied. The car was what he meant by “Taste and Cash” as the car she was driving was…not cheap, not to their standards at least. It was the sort of car that would get stolen out of the driveway. 

“Can we go say hi?” A little girl asked, looking through the window, as the car door opened. The second teen whistled at the sight of Klaudia getting out. Klaudia was not only tall, but incredibly attractive, hence the reaction. 

“Damn she’s tall” an African American woman said in surprise as Klaudia got out of the car. 

“I don’t see why not Debs” An attractive woman replied to the little girl, the older woman seemingly in her 20’s or so. 

“Are you coming too, Fiona?” Debbie asked her older sister, causing Fiona to look at her little sister before sighing and smiling. 

“Fine, but if she’s an ass, don’t expect me to be nice” Fiona said with a smile as Debbie cheered, before opening the door. 

Following after her excited little sister, Fiona watched Debbie race past the nice car, before landing in front of the door. She noticed V was also following along, also wanting to know the new neighbor. 

“Go ahead Debs” Fiona said with a smile, as Debbie knocked on the door softly.

Hearing a knock on her door, Klaudia blinked in surprise. She had only just gotten here, and she was already seemingly getting a visit. 

Walking to the door, she slowly opened it, gloves still on. She blinked in surprise at the sight in front of her. ‘Damn…she’s hotter in person’ Klaudia thought in surprise, as she noticed Fiona Gallagher, Veronica Fisher, and little Debbie Gallagher.

Klaudia wasn’t sure what it was about Fiona that she found so attractive, but she was 75% sure that V had noticed the look she gave Fiona. 

“Uh, hi! I’m Debbie Gallagher and this is my big sister Fiona and her friend Veronica. We just wanted to say hi since you’re new around here!” Debbie said cheerfully, but also slightly nervous, not knowing the woman in front of her. 

Smiling softly, Klaudia crouched and greeted the little girl “It’s nice to meet you too Miss Gallagher, Misses Gallagher, Misses Veronica” 

“Oh, I’m not married” Fiona instantly said. 

“Really?” Klaudia said in fake surprise. Fiona was a beautiful woman, and in her past life, was played by one of her favorite actors, making her an incredibly appealing person. Had she been older and not been born into a family like the Gallaghers, Klaudia is confident that Fiona would have gotten married at some point.

“What? Is that so surprising?” Fiona asked with a raised eyebrow, while V was watching the two with a small smirk on her face, while Debbie looked confused. 

“Ah no, it’s just a woman as beautiful as you not having a significant other, is a bit surprising to me. Sorry if I sounded rude” Klaudia said with a smile, while V blinked, realizing that Klaudia was definitely flirting/complimenting Fiona. Fiona didn’t seem to notice and waved her off. 

“Where’d you move here from?” Debbie asked. The girl found the new woman interesting, as it was rare for someone new to move into the neighborhood, especially across the road from them, and with such a nice car. 

“Los Angeles” Klaudia responded genuinely, having zero reason to lie to these people.

“Is it nice there?” Debbie asked with a tilt of her head. She had never left Chicago, much less the state. She had known the Southside for her entire life, and had only seen something like that on tv or in magazines. 

“Hmm, in certain places yes. It’s too warm for me, so, I thought a change of pace would be nice” Klaudia said with a smile. This was actually true, as in her last life, she had lived in a colder state, so she didn’t like the heat of Cali. Of course, it was more so because she wanted to meet the Gallaghers, Fiona most of all. 

“Is there really palm trees there? And are the beaches as nice as they show on TV?” Debbie asked with practically sparkling eyes. 

“Debbie” Fiona cut in, trying to stop her sister from asking too many questions. 

“It’s fine, Miss Gallagher. And yes, there are palm trees, sadly, the beaches aren’t quite as nice as in Baywatch, but they are still beautiful during the sunset” Klaudia says with a small smile. 

“Call me Fiona, Miss Gallagher makes me sound old” 

“As you wish, Fiona” Klaudia replied with a smile, while Debbie was still pouting slightly at the fact that it wasn’t as nice as she thought. 

“What do you do for a living, if you don’t mind me asking?” V asked, noticing the really nice interior. 

“Ah, I just own a small bit of a business, that’s all” Klaudia replied with a small smile, not revealing that she owned multiple businesses, both legal and illegal, all through her summons. She made hundreds of millions off of them, and that would only continue to increase more and more in the future. 

“Must be a damn good business to have a car like that” Fiona said with a raised eyebrow. 

“It does the job well enough” Klaudia replied with a smile. 

“Yeah, that’s an understatement” V said with a snort, seeing that Klaudia was a hell of a lot wealthier than most people in the area. 

“You should be worried that someone is going to steal that thing. It isn’t often a score that big shows up down her” Fiona added, as Klaudia chuckled. 

“I think you’ll find that I am well equipped to deal with any sort of criminals that think they can steal from me” Klaudia responded simply, as a look of realization hit Fiona and V, understanding that Klaudia likely had some sort of protection in terms of a firearm. 

“Well, be careful with that “Equipment” of yours. You got kids living nearby” V said, having heard enough drivebyes and shootings for a lifetime, some of them being dangerously close to her home. 

“No need to worry about that, Veronica, I’ve trained enough in using it that I won’t make a mistake like that” Klaudia said with a comforting smile, as she did know how to wield a gun. She had used it in her past life and was quite a good shot. 

“Alright, and just call me V, makes me sound old otherwise” V said with a huff, as Klaudia laughed. While Fiona glanced at the clock in Klaudia’s room, and spoke. 

“Well, it was nice meeting you…” “Klaudia, my name is Klaudia” “It was nice meeting you Klaudia, but we’ve got things to do” Fiona said, giving Debbie a look as she pouted.

“Bye Klaudia!” Debbie waved, as she walked off, with V giving her own bye as they walked across the road, leaving Klaudia alone as she shut the door behind her, one thought on her mind.

‘...I can’t wait to see her again~’

This is an old old vault chapter, but I had this like 3/4 of the way done, so I thought I might as well finish it. Not sure if anyone will care about this sort of fic, but eh, here you go.
