Chapter 152 [Vault]

“So you’re telling me I’ve died?”

[Indeed]

“And I’m going to be given the powers and abilities of 10 different characters? With 5 new ones per world traveled? And I can only travel to a new world after six months has passed in my current one?”

[Affirmative]

“Isn’t that overpowered?”

[Of course, but the author was bored and decided to just say fuck it and make a fic of complete chaos for once. Of course, you won’t be receiving their items, and you’ll have to learn how to utilize it all with that new body of yours, which will be different from each of the characters. That and mattering on the world your power will be restrained by around half …doesn’t mean much in the grand scheme of things]

“Yeah I thought so…so, can I spin this big wheel now or am I just gonna stand here and look cute as fuck?” 

[Just spin the damn wheel]

“Alright alright! No need to be rude…no appreciation in this void, hmph” The figure of a teen said, finishing in a whisper and a huff. 

Walking forward she spun the wheel powerfully, as ten different pointers appeared on it.

“Ah, another case of the author being lazy and not wanting to do each individual spin? Eh, I wouldn’t want to either” 

Watching as the wheel spun by, the teen…scratches her ear? As she boredly watched as it continued to spin by, before stopping. 

“Huh…that’s actually a lot more than I was expecting to be honest. Guess you weren’t kidding about the overpowered part”

“So…I’m gonna go ahead and assume I’m gonna get limited to 50% or even less in most worlds?” Each of the entities she had gotten were monstrously powerful, with one of them being above all the others, this being Anos Voldigoad. Combine all her different spells she now knew, with their knowledge, and Merlin (7ds) and her infinity, and you have one stupidly powerful combo. 

[Yeah probably. But hey, it’s all about the slice of life action! Just have fun, and enjoy your new life…Merlin!]

“Huh, I like it!” Merlin said with a bright smile, as she was whisked away, ending a rather…bizarre interaction. One that would be the origin of…quite a lot of chaos…whether that was good or bad…who knows.

[3rd POV] 

Within a large opening, a teen lay, long silverish hair with hints of a purple, almost pink color within. She was…simply divine in appearance, to a level that was beyond any normal human level of beauty. This teen was Merlin, the newly reincarnated individual, and one overpowered person. 

Slowly her eyes began to creep open, as an incredible power rolled out of her being, as she began to rise to her feet. She could feel the new power within her, and the new memories in her skull, and she could only giggle in response. 

“I’m such a spoiled wizard~” Merlin said with a smile, as she glanced around, a hum escaping her lips. 

“Huh, rather weak for a first world, and my power seems to be limited by around 75%, but I’ve still got more than enough to annihilate anything within this little world. At least the magical power seems interesting enough! So versatile and adaptive!” Merlin said with a grin, as she began to walk through the forest, having an idea of where she was as her senses spread. 

“Although it does seem to have a rather interesting little dark side to it, albeit a rather pitiful one. At least compared to Mommy Tiamat” Merlin hummed, remembering how powerful that entity in particular was. It made the darkness within this place look like a mere ant sized shadow in comparison. 

“Hmm, while I don’t have any of my items - not even the sword of destruction, a pity - I do seem to have my grimoire! Kinda useless but still a good addition, maybe I can even mess around with time a bit!” Merlin said, as she continued to walk, making her way to her target location. 

As she walked through the forest, she noticed a rather large uptake in all sorts of magical crops and fauna, interesting beasts ran by her, none of them daring to attack her as they could instinctually feel the power that radiated from her being, power that would atomize them should they annoy her enough (which was hard, as she’d just find it funny). 

Stepping through the forest and onto an opening which happened to be a cliff, she giggled as she realized where she was “The Boiling Isles, great choice~”

”No wonder the magic felt so unique, they use it through circles of all things! Will definitely be fun to master that magic~” Merlin hummed, as she simply walked off the edge of the cliff, only to land on the ground squarely, as if she hadn’t just leaped off of a cliff. 

“Not to mention the little cuties I can tease! Oh I just can’t wait to play matchmaker with Luz and Amity~!” Merlin giggled, already planning on all sorts of ways she can tease the two cuties, as they were absolutely adorable in her eyes. 

Beginning to walk the streets of Boonesborough, Merlin noticed several interesting looking demons, some short with…a large mouth for a face? Some were incredibly tall, almost looking akin to an orc or something of the sort, and some looked just like a normal human but with pointed ears, somewhat like Merlin, but not nearly as attractive. 

“Oh wow so many different types of people~ How cool!” Merlin said with a grin, as she continued to make her way through the streets. She could sense the “Magic Bile Sac” within them, and it was…honestly quite the interesting little thing. It reminded her of a magic core that Artoria had, or perhaps something similar. 

‘How interesting! Their magic is imbued into their very blood and heart! I wonder If I could replicate it for myself? I imagine it would not only allow me to use the magic of this realm with greater ease, it would also likely strengthen my own magic as well! I’ll have to find some…volunteers to test, perhaps some more...unsavory ones?’ Merlin thought with a hum, as she thought about the idea. She already had more magic than entire worlds combined, and even in this world with 75% of it restrained, she was easily the strongest in the entire universe, with only the Collector potentially being able to do anything to her. 

But she didn’t really care too much about that aspect, as she was just in this universe for fun! There were very few universes out there that would be a genuine threat to her anymore, and since she was getting 5 new characters every time she traveled, that amount would get smaller and smaller, until it only held a handful of universes on it’s list, like DC Comics, Marvel Comics, SCP, Dies Irae, and other similar places of incredible power. 

“Hmm? Oh that must be Hexside! How cool, all sorts of magical wards and defenses surrounding it, not to mention all the magical ability culminated within. Although it’s a little disappointing that there only seems to be only a couple hundred students within” Merlin said with a slightly disappointed look on her face, expecting for there to be more students within. 

Looking over the school again, she began to walk closer to it, a grin on her face, as she spoke out loud. 

“Let's have some fun!~”

Yep, this is a crackfic. Merlin is OP as hell, and will only continue to get more op, but that’s sort of the point of this fic. Next chapter will have the first meeting with Luz and them, including a lot of teasing and pranking others. 

Another vault chapter will be coming in a bit.
