[3rd POV]

While Wanda was relaxing within her bookstore, there were others throughout the universe that had felt her usage of power, the chaos magic that she had utilized to eliminate the annoying criminals that were attempting to rob her store, and do even worse things to her. 

Magic beings around the universe felt the pure incredible magic that had been used at that moment, with many of them either being afraid, cautious, or more than anything, intrigued. Such a level of magical power wasn’t commonplace within the universe, especially not one that felt so…unique. 

And two groups of “Magical” beings felt her usage of magic more than any other, those that belonged to Chaos and Order. The Lords of Chaos, and the Lords of Order.

In an unknown location, impossible to understand and infinitely chaotic in measure, glowing beings floated about, as they communicated with one another. 

“Did you feel it? The power? It was so…delightfully impossible!” The voice of a woman echoed, an excited giggle escaping her lips. 

“I’d be surprised if someone didn’t feel it. It was…more than just our power, it was something…new, something even more chaotic than we, the Lords of Chaos utilize, which should be impossible, and yet, it isn’t” A man replied, a frown on his face as he remembered the power that echoed throughout the universe, being felt by every magical being in the universe, at least, all the strong ones. 

“It was awesome! I say we go find whoever used it and recruit em!” A younger nasally voice echoed, the purr of a cat traveling with him as he had a wide grin on his glowing form. 

“...I am ashamed to admit, but I must agree with Klarion, such an individual must be recruited into our circle, before the host of Nabu finds them first” A younger teenage girl sounded, a scowl on her glowing face, hating to have to agree with the one known as “Klarion”. 

Klarion was a Lord of Chaos like the others, but unlike them he was in a physical form in the universe, more notably Earth. He was on Earth to sow chaos and disorder, as a Lord of Chaos does. He was also there working with a group called “The Light”. The light was a group made up of villains like Vandal Savage, Lex Luthor, Ra’s Al Ghul, and several others. Their goal? World domination, as usual. 

“Oh oh! I can find them! I’m on Earth right now so it’ll be easy peasy to find a brat using power they don’t understand! And if they don’t agree, I’m sure I can just drag them here!” Klarion said with a grin, hoping the latter would happen so he could potentially get a new pet. 

Had Wanda heard that last part, she would have laughed in Klarion's face. As after absorbing Chthon, and with the fact that she can utilize chaos magic of Marvel and DC, she was easily stronger than any of the Lords of Chaos, with only Mordru being able to pose any sort of true threat to her, and even that was…unlikly to say the least. 

It didn’t help that she wasn’t even human anymore, being a fusion of Demigod, Atlantean, Demon, and Faltine, making her some sort of Quadbrid of sorts. And with each of those species, came an increase in magic, and physique. She was physically far stronger than any normal humans, and most metahumans 

“That would be…appropriate. But are you certain you will complete the task at hand, without causing any…issues?” A dignified sounding man said, staring down Klarion who nodded. 

“Yeah, it should be a piece of cake! As long as those Order bastards don’t get in my way at least!” Klarion said with a scowl, as he, like all Lords of Chaos, despised the Lords of Order, their natural opposites and some of the few that could fight back against them. 

At this response, the other Lords of Chaos went silent, glancing at one another in thought, inwardly trying to decide whether or not having Klarion of all people do such an important task, was a…good idea or not. 

“...Fine. But should you fail in this mission, there will be consequences, understood?” The man, seemingly the leader of the Lords, said, as Klarion nodded rapidly in response, a grin on his face. 

“Yeah yeah, I’ll find the Chaos user and bring em to our side, if not…well, I could always use a new pet!”

In another location, within a large tower exuding immense magical power, a being sat, golden helmet upon his head as he sat in silence. 

“...Chaos…so much chaos. This being…must be found” Doctor Fate said out loud to himself, with a tone that sorta sounded like he’d be scowling at the moment. As a Lord of Order, he was given the duty of wiping out Chaos, and this being that had exuded such a power, was more chaotic than just about anything he had felt in millenia. It was even worse than a majority of the Lords of Chaos, which was saying a lot. 

“Such an entity…cannot be permitted to exist” Doctor Fate said to himself once again, as he rose to his feet, deciding that he would need the aid of the Justice League for this particular endeavor. As while he could find the entity himself, he would need their aid in order to defeat whatever it is. 

‘Let us hope it does not misuse its power until we find it’

Another entity was frowning as she gazed off, noticing something…concerning. 

“...Souls have been…taken from me? Not only that, but before their destined time…” The voice echoed, a being in incomprehensible power muttering in rare confusion. For this being that looked like a rather…goth teenage girl, was in fact, Death of the Endless, the very personification of Death itself. 

She, a being that was destined to exist even after the very multiverse itself died, after all else perished, was for the first time in her countless years of life…confused. So very confused. 

“...Taken by Chaos? And yet…it is different, foreign…stronger, much stronger. This…being, whatever they are…they are far stronger than a mere Lord of Chaos, they are…something else entirely” Death muttered, sensing the power behind what had destroyed the souls that were owed to her. And she couldn’t help but slowly find herself…interested in whatever or whoever had caused this. 

‘Earth? Perhaps…a visit is due’ Death thought, sensing the general location of the entity, as she couldn't help but smile slightly, which was incredible thanks to her literally divine appearance. She was technically already on Earth, as she existed everywhere death was, which was…well, everywhere. Unlike what humans thought, Death was not an evil entity or anything, and was actually incredibly kind and helped those that die to move on in a kind manner, well, unless you’re an evil bastard at least.

Back with Wanda, who was unknowing of the fact that half the universe felt her usage of power, and more than anything, her destroying the very souls of others which was…kind of a no-no. Wanda was sitting in her living room, sipping on tea as she read through a grimoire that she had used her power to summon to her, a rather…impossible thing to do, but laughably easy for her to do. 

The book was on some particularly dark magic, but nothing she couldn’t handle. It was also…very easy to understand, likely because of her thousands of years of knowledge that was in her brain, making things like this laughably easy to learn and comprehend. 

‘Seems the magic of this universe is about the same as I remember from Circe, Arion, and Tim. Learning it is easy, but these are all quite simple spells, so it’ll take something far more complex to give me any sort of challenges anymore’ Wanda thought, slightly disappointed, but not very surprised with the outcome. 

‘Guess I’ll have to figure out how to conjure some of the more advanced books, or perhaps I’ll just rob Zatara or Dr Fate. Either should work fine’ Wanda thought, knowing they’d have much more interesting and complex books, especially Dr Fate. 

‘I suppose robbing the Lords of Chaos would work too, but I doubt they’ll have anything like that, with their reliance on Chaos magic’ Wanda thought with a sigh, deciding that she would need to do that soon, as she leaned back and closed the book, her tea finished as she glanced at the time. 

Seeing the time, Wanda got to her feet, and made her way to her bedroom, deciding that it was time to go to sleep for the night, all the while, she had one thought on her mind. 

‘...I hope the next customers are interesting’

So instead of doing 2k word chapters for this fic, it’ll be 1.4k to 1.5k chapters. Mostly because with it being a bookstore fic, making 2k word chapters is…a lot harder than I thought, that, and I don’t want to drag chapters needlessly by making them all 2k words, hope that’s alright with all of you!

And yeah, Unique Gamer is going on hiatus for a couple of months, and when it returns, it’ll likely become like Daughter of God, where it’s updated every 3-4 days. 

The new 5$ tier SHOULD be coming tomorrow, but no promises as it might be taking longer than I thought.
