Chapter 167 [Vault]

Title - The 100: The Akashic Records | Female MC

____________________________________________

[3rd POV]

She had died. Death had claimed her as she was crossing the street, a truck barrelling into her, killing her in an instant as she crossed. Only to reappear in an infinite void, what preceded afterwards was a cliche meeting with some sort of system, informing her that she had been chosen to be reborn into the world of “The 100”.

What came after was an explanation on the one and only boon she had been given. The boon known as the “Akashic Records”. The ability itself was simple, she could enter a “Library” of sorts, one that had infinite books within. By selecting a book, she can then use that book to learn the experiences of the one within, gaining all their skills, but none of their powers.

She could only select one book at a time, and she had to train with the individual themselves, almost like they were a mentor or something of the sort. Once she beat them using the skills she was taught by them, or tied with them, she would then be able to choose a new book, and a new mentor to learn from.

All training done within, such as working out, would apply to her real life figure, giving her a good and powerful way of training.

Especially once she had realized that she had awoken as a five year old, locked up simply for being born. Thanks to her mother and father having more than one child. Said family was then floated for their actions, with her older sister joining them after she had attempted to kill a guard that was bringing her parents to get floated.

The guards were particularly brutal with her, thanks to her sister successfully ending the life of the man before she was floated. She got meager rations, no forms of entertainment, and was treated like she was evil, even though she had literally just been born when it had happened.

So, she had spent every waking hour doing the only thing she could do.

Training

She had walked through the halls of the infinite library, looking for a good starter teacher to learn from. One that would give her the ability to defend herself against others, and how to survive should she be sent to Earth.

From that, she had decided on…Kraven the Hunter, particularly the Spiderman game version, as he was a lot less skilled than his comic counterpart, and would give her a good base for the future.

Training with the man had been…brutal, very brutal. As she had trained within her cell alone, none of the guards even noticed that she was doing so. The hunter drilled his teachings into her, making sure she learned every form of tracking needed. Said tracking was capable thanks to the akashic records being able to mimic natural forests and such in order to learn.

The man, while brutal with her, had become a bit of an uncle figure to her, teaching her more than just tracking, but also things like understanding others, reading, writing, and speaking several other languages that he knew, and how to lead. Basically everything needed to grow into someone capable of anything.

But sadly, that hadn’t lasted. As by the time she had turned 13 years old, she had managed to defeat the man. This had only been possible thanks to what was basically 24/7 training for 8 years straight.

It was on that day that she had defeated Kraven, her uncle disappearing from her life as she obtained his skills and knowledge. And with this, she began to move onto more and more individuals of note.

The next group of people she had learned from was martial arts masters. Particularly the easier ones and then the harder ones.

She started with Mr Miyagi from Karate Kid, then Daniel LaRusso, Johnny Lawrence, Kreese, Silvers, Sensei Wolf, and a couple of others within the Karate Kid universe. Defeating all of them by the time 6 months had passed, only possible thanks to her teachings from Kraven.

When she had turned 14, she had fought and killed a guard.

He was one of the particularly cruel ones, and now that she had reached an “Appropriate” age for him, he had attempted some…less than nice things against her, only for his neck to get snapped once she had been put on his ass.

Any possibility of her getting out had been destroyed once that had happened, as the higher ups were very biased towards those that hadn’t committed any “crimes” and she had committed one even before this, simply for being born.

So, with the knowledge that she wouldn’t be getting out normally, she put herself into more training.

The next group of people she had started to learn from was a handful of MCU characters that she was able to handle.

Black Widow, Yelena Belova, Clint Barton, Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes, and Maria Hill.

They had all been defeated and taken out by the time she had turned 15.

She had then moved into characters from the universe she was currently in, The 100. Starting with Indra, a woman that had been…well, pretty much completely destroyed in a fight, all because of the fact that she had been less skilled than the reincarnator, who had given herself the name “Rayna Kravinoff” with the aid of her uncle/father figure Kraven.

After defeating Indra, Rayna had moved onto Anya, and then several others, Luna, Roan, Lexa, Anya, and a few others. All so that she could learn from the Grounders in order to fight them, or at least fight the ones that would be a threat to her.

She had defeated all of them within a month.

After them, she had started to learn from Arrowverse characters.

The first of which was Ra’s Al Ghul. The man had been the most brutal teacher she had learned from in her 12 years of training, but he had also been one of, if not the most skilled of them all.

After Ra’s was Oliver Queen, then Deathstroke, Malcolm Merlyn, Richard Dragon/Ricardo Diaz, Sara Lance, Thea Queen, and several others.

By the time Rayna had turned 17 years old, she was undoubtedly the most skilled woman in the 100 universe. And yet, she was still completely and utterly human, simply a human at the peak of what a human can be.

And the world was not ready for her, not in the least.

Sitting within her cell, Rayna let out a sigh as sweat trickled down her figure. Rayna was a beautiful short teen standing at 5’2 of Indian descent. She had long brown hair, and a toned yet feminine figure, showing that she had a lot of training over the years, and a lot of work having been put into her body.

Rayna was…not exactly the talkative type, being restricted to a cell her entire life would do that. She hadn’t even seen the sunlight once since she was born, and the guards believed she didn’t know how to read, write, or speak English.

She could obviously, but she cared little for their beliefs, instead focusing on herself.

She had been training with her newest mentor, Bullseye from Marvel Comics. He was…easily the most skilled marksman she had ever seen, being able to aim perfectly with just about any weapon you can think of, even things that weren’t weapons like playing cards, pencils, and stuff like that.

And boy was he better than her. She couldn’t mimic even a single move of the man, as his skill in the area was simply that much better than hers. It was embarrassing, but also humbling.

She had decided to take a bit of a break from the training for the rest of the day, instead opting to lean back against the wall with a yawn, the dull grey walls surrounding her as she began to shut her eyes, only to stop as she heard the door begin to get unlocked.

Turning to the door, Rayna’s eyes widened in realization as a burst of excitement filled her, understanding what was happening, as she had one thought on her mind as the door slammed open, four guards standing there.

‘…It’s time to go to Earth!’

That’s the end of the chapter!

This was actually an old vault fic I had like 50% done so I thought I’d finish it. the intro was rushed, but I quite frankly am getting a bit tired of writing the intro void bits, so I’ll probably start just skipping through them more as they’re basically the same thing every single time.

Love interest is Octavia. The MC is NOT overpowered, just skilled. She can still be killed by any normal person, takes a long ass time to actually learn as she learns just like everyone else. So…she’s actually pretty balanced in terms of power…I think.

Anyways, have a good day!
