Chapter 172 [Vault]

Time and passed since Bella had been reborn into the world of Twilight, over a year in fact. She was now a 17 year old girl, a VERY different girl. One that was completely and utterly different from herself the year before, to the point that no one recognized her, not even her own mother. 

The first thing she had noticed most of all, was the confidence. No longer was she this meek little thing that kept quiet even when getting bullied, no longer did she just sit in the back of the class and ignore everything and everyone, and no longer did she give a damn about the neglect her mother was showing her.

The second thing that everyone noticed was the change in looks. Besides her body getting more and more toned and muscular thanks to her working herself to the bone (and taking advantage of her new gift, but we’ll get to that), she had also changed up her hair (again, using her gift). Now sporting a blonde haired look, one that she found to suit her far better, and she had also cut her hair a bit, overall, she looked way better, taller too, now standing at 5’7 instead of 5’4, growing an entire 3 inches. 

Bella loved the changes she had made to herself, as she felt that they represented her, the new her at least. Far more than her old self at least. 

Her mother on the other hand…was not pleased. Mostly because it made the teachers mad, because there was a dress code violation for having dyed her hair? Yeah, Bella wasn’t sure where the hell that one came from, but she couldn't find it in her to care. 

In terms of powers, she found that her gift allowed her to create other ones within limit. She couldn’t create gifts that could eliminate the weaknesses of her ability, and she couldn't create gifts that directly buffed her body, like super strength. She could give herself regenerative properties though…so that was nice.

She also found that her gift was completely reliant on her stamina, and it drained a LOT of it. It was because of this that she had to train her ass off in order to get enough stamina to create her second gift. As the more gifts she made, the more it drained her. 

After a month of training, she had made her second gift, and an important one. 

“Heightened Training” an ability that basically just made it so that her physical capabilities grew around 5x their previous speeds, allowing her training to give her way more than normal. It was also a good cheat code to get around the limit of her ability. 

The second she had created came two weeks later, and was a simple “Shapeshifting” power, which allowed her to change her eye color, hair color, and even other parts of her body, in return for draining her stamina. 

Had she been a Vampire, she was certain that the limits on these would be far weaker, and she’d be able to do a hell of a lot more than she could right now. 

After them, she decided to get her next power that would be helpful to her, the other version of her first created gift “Instructive Muscle Memory” this one being the “Photographic Reflexes” which allows her to mimic the movements of others to a perfect degree. It when combined with her instructive muscle memory, made her an absolute monster in martial arts, and she took advantage of it. 

Going to Karate Dojo’s, Kung Fu Classes, MMA classes, Muay Thai, basically any one of them she could think of, she went to, learned from for a week or so, and then left after proving her skills. And it drew a lot of attention, as she had scouts for major martial arts tournaments coming to ask her to participate, but she never did as she just wasn’t interested. 

The next gifts she had chosen were: Perfect Memory, Regenerative Healing Factor, and Heightened Comprehension. 

Perfect Memory gave her a perfect memory, Regenerative Healing Factor had boosted her regenerative capabilities by quite a bit, and Heightened Comprehension had massively boosted her comprehension. 

She found that she could also use her stamina to “Upgrade” her gifts, almost like she was creating the same power twice, strengthening it. And with this new piece of knowledge, for the next few months, she had upgraded the Regenerative Healing Factor to the point that it was on par with Wolverine’s, but she still couldn’t survive without her heart or brain or anything like that, sadly, she also felt all that pain too. 

Thanks to the regenerative healing factor, combined with her Heightened training, she had rapidly grown over the last month that she was in Arizona. 

Her mother had found a new husband or whatever, and was now basically kicking her out to Forks, which she was VERY glad about. Because quite frankly, her mom was a bitch and she wanted far away from her. Her dad on the other hand, was a kind man, and much better than her neglectful mother. 

And now that her mother had ditched her with her new husband, Bella was off to Forks in a plane. Well, Seattle at least, as that was the closest airport. From there, her dad was going to pick her up. 

Sitting in the plane, Bella leaned back, listening to music on an old MP3 player. The sounds of Indie Rock playing in her ears as she sighed. 

‘Looks like I’ll be meeting up with Dad soon’ Bella thought, noticing the time. The flight should be ending within the next 30 minutes, and once that happened, she’d find wherever her dad was waiting for her at. 

‘And then it’ll be off to Forks, to finally meet…them’ Bella thought, remembering the pale faced vampires, the ones that glittered underneath the sun, and the ones that would have changed her life had she not been what she was now. Especially Edward Cullen, someone she was…not even remotely interested in. 

‘Hell…I’d be more interested in Alice if she was single’ Bella thought with a chuckle, as she sighed, before slowly closing her eyes, deciding to get a Power nap in, one last thought on her mind as she did so.

’…I wonder if anything’s different here?’

Within Forks, in a large, fanciful home, a beautiful “Teen” lay, she had pale skin, short, bob cut brown hair, and beautiful eyes, similar to a gold color. She was petite, standing at a tiny 4’10, just like her book counterpart. This “Teen” was in fact, Alice Cullen, a century old vampire that had the gift that allowed her to see flashes of the future, and that is exactly what was happening right now. 

Flashes of a beautiful teen filled her head, of her blonde hair and toned body, of the countless hours of working out, of the neglect of her mother, and of her sitting on a plane, humming a beautiful tune with the music she was listening to. 

As she saw this, a gasp escaped her lips as they slowly receded, as her family, the Cullens/Hales, surrounded her. 

”Alice, what’d you see?” Carlisle asked, looking over her as she sat up, eyes wide as she processed what she had seen. Of the one that had made her feel as if her dead heart was beating out of its chest, even if it couldn’t. 

“I-I” Alice stuttered, as she shook off the visions, and slowly, a beautiful smile began to form on her face, a laugh of pure and unadulterated happiness escaping her as she let out a cheerful grin. 

“I’ve found them!” Alice said, as her family's eyes widened in surprise. 

“You mean…” Rosalie Hale, her blonde haired “Sister” said, eyes widening as Alice looked at her with a million watt smile, and she spoke softly to them. 

“I found her…I found my mate”

Bella isn’t going to be op, or all that strong. Not until she becomes well, not human. As her human body can only handle so much, and her gift is limited as she is a human at the moment. 

This IS a crossover universe with at least TVD.

Love interest is Alice, and I was thinking of adding someone from TVD, but who? Give me ideas!
