Chapter 226 [Vault]

She remembered dying.

She remembered death claiming her, the overwhelming cold embrace of death claiming her after she died of exhaustion, born from overwork and horrid conditions at her simple job at Amazon. She remembered toiling her life away every day all day, suffering the same as so many others, living pointless life with nothing in sight.

And then, as she lay dead, she remembered them.

The miniature stars, orbs of light and energy that seemed to glow around her within the infinite darkness of death, began to flow towards her being, her consciousness, or what remained of her.

Each of these stars soon began to show something…inside of them.

Symbols, markers of life and history.

10 of them in total, each and every one of them unique from the other, each and every one of them holding incredible power deep within.

The first of them was a dark star, glowing with a blue light, a symbol of a skull within it.

The second was a star glowing gold and white, glowing within was 10 rings.

The third was a star glowing orange, within was a glowing red spear.

The Fourth was a star glowing Green, within were golden chains.

The Fifth was a star glowing a mixture of Pink and Golden, within were nine brilliant tails.

The Sixth was a purple star, within was a crimson bloody red spear.

The Seventh was a grey star, within glowed maddening red chains and a lion's mane.

The Eighth was a Black and Golden star, within glowed a dark crown of bones.

The Ninth was a dark blue star, with two large horns glowing red within.

The Final star was a magnificent golden, within glowed a single mighty gate.

The woman knew not what these meant, only that each of them flew into her being, as she felt a warmth unlike anything she had ever felt in her past life. It made her feel…safe, protected even.

And as they finished flowing into her consciousness, the darkness that surrounded her began to warp and change, as everything began to glow brightly, and she was blinded. As her form was ripped from the infinite void of death that she had been within for who knows how long.

And that was the beginning of something new…something…incredible.

Within a tiny, cramped apartment with one large room, a woman lay. She stood at around 5’4, with short brown hair, and a beautiful physique, with curves and assets in all the right areas. She also had a slight amount of muscle, not enough to form a six pack or anything, but enough to be noticeable. This, was our recent reincarnator, the woman gifted with 10 stars. And as her eyes opened, they glowed a brilliant light, before receding to a simple grey color

[This but with grey eyes]

Opening her eyes, the woman began to look around with furrowed eyebrows. Only to find that she was in an apartment very similar to what she had in her past life. Tiny one room, a one room apartment where pretty much everything was in one area.

Glancing around more, she noticed a calendar, her eyes widening at the date.

“2010? Wha-what? I died, I know I did. But now I’m in the past? The hell?” The woman muttered, confused. She had died when it was 2025, meaning she was now 15 years in the past.

She was 10 when it was 2010, certainly not 25 like she was now.

“Is this one of those fanfic situations?” She muttered, remembering the fanfics she had read when she had time off. Her favorite fanfics to read were always the ones set in the MCU, with that franchise being her favorite.

She had only just finished Thunderbolts a day before dying, and it only further cemented her love for superhero stories. More than that, it further cemented her belief that Yelena Belova was the hottest female character in the MCU.

“Do I at least get some information on where I am?” The woman questioned, as she realized that there wasn’t a note or anything, so instead, she glanced over the area, only to pause when she noticed something.

“…Stark Industries?” She muttered, wide eyed as she looked down at a newspaper, as she realized where she was.

“I-I’m in the MCU?”

After a rather brief panic attack as the woman realized she was in a very dangerous world, and in the city that tended to get attacked for some reason. She began to contemplate her situation.

“So I’m in the MCU. In 2010, a year before Thor and Iron Man 2. Not only that, but I am broke as hell, just like in my past life, AND I live in the worst possible city to live in in the MCU? This feels like a punishment or something” She grumbled, knowing that actually moving away from this city would be difficult.

“Do I at least get some sort of power or boon? If this is a fanfic, I’d be able to say “Status” and have a system or something, but I doubt that’ll be the case. But…those stars that I saw…there’s no way they’re normal” She muttered to herself, as she wondered if maybe those were the gift she had been given.

“The symbols…they almost remind me of something…” She whispered, as she remembered some of the symbols. Not all of them were completely clear to her, but there was one that she almost immediately knew, that she almost immediately recognized.

The last star she had seen, the one that glowed a brilliant royal gold. The gate within…she knew that star, It was symbolism for…

”Gilgamesh…” She muttered, and the second she did, something…happened.

It was like an surge of energy filled her being, her eyes widening as she bit back a gasp, her eyes beginning to tint a red color, as a flash of gold curled around her, and she felt something…change within her.

Within an instant, she had changed, an aura of power rolling out of her as she looked down at her hand, it was the same as before, but now she had red tattoo’s across her skin, her eyes were crimson red, and her hair golden blonde.

“Class card…so whatever mongrel put me here gave me this much” She muttered to herself, as she felt the emotions of Gilgamesh within her, the power of the man who killed Gods casually, one of the most powerful characters in Fate. And with that came his knowledge, she could tell that she wouldn’t be able to keep said knowledge, not all of it at least.

“And not only do I get the power of these 10 characters - although I can only use them one at a time - I also receive a portion of that power permanently, once per class card. With my assimilation with this…power, I’ve received a portion of his physical attributes, memories, and even a part of his golden rule skill” The women muttered, as she understood that she wasn’t feeling the full extent of Gilgamesh’s emotions.

She wouldn’t until she actually used his powers. As so far, she hadn’t even so much as summoned a Gate. And she didn’t really want to do that, not yet. She’d rather not test it in her tiny hovel of an apartment, which with the emotions of Gilgamesh…she found to be an insult.

“Seems I have to summon a gate for the full emotional extent to flood in. And I’d rather not do that here, wouldn’t want a bunch of annoying mongrels to notice. Especially not that irritant that is “SHIELD”. They’d just love to try and manipulate me, the annoying little organization” She grumbled, more of the Gilgamesh personality coming out.

She wasn’t pleased with her situation, and now that she seemed to have a fraction of the Golden Rule, she would be able to change that through pure luck.

And…she had an idea for who she could go to in order to start making money, and that would be…

I also plan on FINALLY making a fanfic with a certain Blonde Haired female King as the MC. A very powerful version that will not just be the King alone.

Love interest for this fic is Yelena, cause my god is she hot, she is also a really rare character to see as a love interest when it comes to MCU fanfics, so…yeah.
