Chapter 239 [Vault]

Title - TVD: The Kitsune | Chapter 3 | Female

___________________________________________

[3rd POV]

After returning to the Village, Azeria sat in her home, contemplating the future, and what was going to happen that same night. What was going to happen to little Henrik, and what was going to happen to the Mikaelsons. The change her beloved would undergo.

And she couldn’t do anything to stop it. She wasn’t strong, she wasn’t fast, she wasn’t capable enough to stop a pack of Werewolves, hell, she probably wouldn’t even be able to kill more than one.

Then there would be the change into the Originals, the death of her beloved and her rebirth as something else, something new. Azeria wasn’t sure what to do in regards to that, but she would stick with her wife through it all, she had to.

And it was for that reason that she stared at the small shavings in front of her. White Oak shavings, formed into a necklace for herself. A necklace that she managed to get her adoptive mother to enchant so nobody else could wear it, unless they wanted to be shocked.

She needed it for the future. Not for hurting them, no, but because she knew that it could be used in a ritual in the future. That she should be able to learn to use it and become something…more, just like her wife would.

But for now, she tucked the necklace back under her shirt, as she let out a deep breath, the door to her home getting knocked on as she walked to it and opened the door with a warm smile on her face, her wife on the other side.

“You coming, love? It’s almost night!” Rebekah said, as Azeria chuckled.

“I’m coming love, I’m coming” Azeria responded as she followed after her wife, hoping and praying to whatever Gods were out there, that they’d be able to get through this. That she wouldn’t lose her wife to the change she would undergo.

And the last thought she had as she followed her wife, was…

‘…I’m sorry Henrik’

…The next day.

The time in the cave hadn’t been a difficult one. Esther and Mikael had questioned where Klaus and Henrik were, but they decided to drop it, certain that they were safe as long as they stayed in a safe location.

Only, that didn’t pass, as Azeria silently held a sobbing Rebekah in her arms, as Esther cradled her son on her own. Her deceased son, Henrik Mikaelson.

‘…I’m so sorry Henrik’ Azeria thought, a few of her own tears flowing, as Rebekah held her close, uncaring for the fact that people would see. She didn’t care right now, as all she wanted was her wife’s love, her wife’s warmth, her wife’s comfort.

Glancing at Mikael, Azeria could see the rage pounding in his heart. The decision that was made in his mind, a decision that would change the world, a decision that would change his family.

And it seemed Ayana had a similar idea of what he was thinking, as her face was filled with dread, looking at her daughter, as they both understood that something was going to change thanks to this.

And change it did.

______________________________

Time passed after the death of Henrik, time of mourning and loss and grief. Time spent where the Mikaelsons stayed clear of everyone else, and that included Rebekah.

A time where her mother warned her not to go near Esther or the others, to stay clear from them. That they were dangerous, even Rebekah.

It was then that she knew that her wife had been changed. That her wife was no longer human, no longer living. That she was an Original, THE Original.

And it was because of this, that she was walking towards their home, knowing that the others were not in at the moment, most of them having left. As it was dark enough out that they could leave without worry, while their mother had been working on a daylight ring.

Knocking on the door, she waited for it to be opened, only for it not to be, as she continued to knock and spoke out loud.

“I know you’re in there Bekah, there’s no point in hiding. Now open the door!” Azeria yelled out, not angry, but wanting her wife to hear her words, hoping that she wouldn’t have to knock the door down herself.

And thankfully, she didn’t, as the door soon opened, revealing a disheveled Rebekah, who looked fearful of even stepping near her.

“S-Stay away from me! I-I can’t control myself!” Rebekah said fearfully, not fearful of Azeria, but fearful of what she would do if she lost control.

Azeria’s scent was better than anything else Rebekah had ever experienced. And with her emotions shot up to 100, she was finding it hard to control herself, to not jump into her wife’s arms and hug her, to make love with her. And if they did that…she feared she’d do something horrible, that she would try to feed.

And Azeria knew that was why she was staying clear from her, causing Azeria to softly sigh.

“Love, do you really think I’m going to stay away from my wife? We both know that I’m not leaving. And we both know that I am not human, so do you seriously think I can’t tell that something has happened to you and your family? I am no fool, my beloved” Azeria said softly, as Rebekah looked like she’d cry, as Azeria walked closer to her.

“B-But I-I don’t want to hurt you” Rebekah stuttered out, as Azeria just lovingly smiled at her, wrapping her arms around her wife’s waist.

“You won’t hurt me, my love. I’m certain of it” Azeria softly said, as she leaned down and locked lips with Rebekah, as the Originals' control ceased, and things began to get…heated.

Turns out sex with Rebekah as an Original was…incredible, like 10/10 would definitely do it again.

Not only was the sex incredible, but her wife had controlled herself well, not hurting her at all, as they fucked one another like rabbits, making love for hours on end. Thankfully nobody returned home at the time, so they were able to do it freely.

And thankfully, the sex had been a good way to get Rebekah to talk to her again, especially once she realized that she was able to control herself a lot better than she had initially thought.

And thanks to that, the next couple of weeks had passed cleanly, with her and her wife being together with every moment that they possibly could. Having more sex than ever before, staying close to one another as Azeria became Rebekah’s comfort, as she grew clingy to her wife’s warmth and touch.

As well as her blood.

The first time Rebekah fed on her blood had been…an interesting experience. It was during some…fun time, and wasn’t meant to harm her. And had been weirdly pleasurable when it happened. Rebekah had obviously felt terrible and wanted to leave again, but Azeria forced her to stay.

And thanks to Azeria’s coaxing, Rebekah began to feed on her blood regularly, usually sitting in her lap as she suckled on her neck, while Azeria just held her.

Thanks to her being a Kitsune, losing some blood was no issue, as she just regenerated it within a few minutes anyways, so it really wasn’t an issue.

The weeks passed by comfortably thanks to that, but finally, things changed. As in the middle of one night, she was launched awake by the sounds of screams and yells, causing her to shoot out of her bed and bolt towards the doorway, exiting her home, only to stop.

Standing in the middle of the village was an enraged Mikael, yelling out for his children, as Esther had been “killed” by Klaus only just recently.

Seeing the man, Azeria held her sword in her hand, wondering what she should do. She could see her wife in the distance, hiding her siblings around her, obviously trying to find a way out of the village without their father noticing.

But Azeria also realized that this was different than what should have happened in canon. As they should have been able to flee without too much difficulty, but instead, Mikael stood in the open, aware of the death of Esther, searching for them.

Azeria was broken from her thoughts as Mikael turned, his eyes snapping onto her as he saw her standing there, her blade in her hand as her eyes hardened. Rebekah watched in horror as her wife stood across from her father.

“What are you doing here, girl? Are you going to try and stop me?” Mikael asked with a scowl on his face, his own blade in his hands as Azeria looked at the man, before chuckling.

“I know I can’t stop you, Mikael. But I can stall for as long as possible, until they get away” Azeria spoke loudly, trying to get the Mikaelsons to flee, to run. But it was obvious that her wife was trying to resist this, but glancing off to the distance, Azeria gave her wife a loving smile as she was dragged off by her brothers.

“Foolish girl. Rebekah is a fool for lying with someone like you” Mikael said darkly, as he blurred forwards at immense speeds, as Azeria’s eyes constricted, her sword blocking his own as she groaned, the strength of an Original being way beyond her own.

Lightning and Thunder boomed in the skies above as Azeria fought off the man the best she could, stalling as she knew the Mikaelsons got far away, to a distant cliff that gave them a view of the village.

At the same time, she knew her mother was likely racing to the village as fast as she possibly could. As nobody else could cause such a change in weather besides her.

“And you are a fool for hating your son for his mothers actions” Azeria responded coldly, lightning arcing off her sword as she managed to cut him squarely in the chest, causing him to let out a groan of pain, before his own blade slammed back against her sword.

And underneath the full strength of an Original, the sword went flying, and before she could even react, a gasp of pain echoed from her throat, as a sword was shoved squarely into her chest, right where her heart was, brushing against it.

Blood trickled from her mouth as she laughed “Yo-You might have killed me, but your family got away, you prick” Azeria said with a laugh, as far off in the distance, she heard them.

The screams of Rebekah, the screams of heartbreak, as her wife watched as she dropped to the floor, darkness beginning to overwhelm her, death looming over her form.

Everything began to go dark, as she watched Mikael begin to slowly walk off with a dark scowl on his face. One final thought echoing in her head, as darkness claimed her.

‘…I’m sorry my love’

That’s the end of the chapter!

Sorry if this was rushed, but I honestly just wanted to get this little part done. As writing the Originals childhood/beginnings is really difficult and not very fun to be honest.

Also, just gonna make sure this is clear: Rebekah will NOT “cheat” on Azeria. She won’t be getting with anyone else. Azeria was her one and only in her heart, and with how clingy she was, her heart was permanently shattered from her death.
