Chapter 255 [Vault]

Title - GOT: The Wolf of War | Chapter 6 | Futanari

____________________________________________

[3rd POV] [272 AC | 9 Years before the fall of the Targaryen Dynasty | 10 Years since the birth of Brandon Stark, 9 Years since the birth of Eddard Stark, 7 Years since the Birth of Lyanna Stark, 4 Years since the Birth of Benjen Stark]

Walking alongside the trees of the forest just beyond the wall, Cregan knew that actually getting beyond the wall was going to be a very very interesting process. As while she would love to just walk through the tunnel and leave from Castle Black, she knew for a fact that that simply would not work.

She was older now, and was unrecognizable to anyone who wasn’t her mother and father, and MAYBE Maester Aemon. Her mother and father would only know her because of her eyes, and the fact that she knew things that only she could ever know.

So, she had to go through a different route. Which is one of the very very very few tunnels that lead past the wall. The tunnel of the Nightfort, which thanks to her connection to the Weirwood Trees, would allow her passage. Whereas normally it would require a member of the Night's Watch to repeat their vow, or a part of it. This “Gate” was known simply as the “Black Gate”.

Getting to the Gate wasn’t that difficult, as she knew exactly where the tunnel was, thanks to her being the Three Eyed Raven, and being able to see even more than Brynden could.

She had noticed that she could see the past and present, but she had learned from Brynden that seeing the future was far more difficult than it used to be, thanks to her presence in the world messing everything up.

Either way she was currently walking towards the tunnels of the Black Gate, so she could leave beyond the wall alongside her pack, or at least a fraction of them. Around 50 of the total numbers were accompanying her, more than enough for future fights.

Walking through the forests, she was also having her bigger members of the pack carry the chest that she had some of her free folk members grab. The chest in question had a number of important items inside, including the clothes that she had worn when she was kidnapped, as well as a small dagger that her father had gifted her years ago.

Inside of the chest was a lot of things that she needed, as well as a couple of very very special things that she had managed to find beyond the wall, deep deep beyond the wall.

Walking alongside the Alpha that she had brought with her, Cregan glanced down to the direwolf Alpha known as “Odin” because the Direwolf had lost an eye while young. But it was a strong wolf, a large one at that.

Above head were dozens of ravens and crows, all of which were completely under her control and she was currently gazing through, as she found the target location which was only another couple of minutes from her.

A couple of minutes that passed quite quickly, as she soon found herself inside of the tunnels that would lead her beyond the wall. The wolves walking behind her in an orderly fashion, the ravens and crows passing over the wall above.

“You lot alright back there?” Cregan called out, looking back at her beloved pack. It was quite a tight tunnel for creatures as big as them.

As the largest member of the pack, Odin, was larger than a horse, while most of the others were around the size of a pony, making the pack huge.

Odin wasn’t even the largest direwolf in her pack, that was owed to the “Alpha of Alpha’s” aka the Alpha of the ENTIRE Direwolf pack beyond the wall, and it was easily the largest wolf in the world.

But it was so big that she couldn’t bring it in the tunnel, so it’d have to come across once her father gives her permission.

The wolves only let out a low grunt in response, which was basically just their form of telling her that they were uncomfortable, but could handle it.

With that confirmation, Cregan smiled as she continued to walk through the tunnel, which was quite a bit longer than she was expecting, but thankfully, soon came to an end as she climbed out of a well, which is where the tunnel was.

After her, the wolves climbed out one by one, able to do so thanks to their skill in climbing and natural strength. That and they could jump quite high as well.

Looking around, Cregan stretched as she knew that the Wall was around 600 miles from Winterfell, and it would take her around a fortnight with a few days added on. Aka around 18 days or so, but it would likely be closer to 25 for her with all the wolves coming with her, and the need to be unseen before she got to Winterfell itself.

Glancing back at the wolves, Cregan smiled, as she began to walk once again, her wolves accompanying her. Ready to finally return home after 11 long years.

Cregan just hoped her mother wouldn’t beat her arse when she saw her.

[Winterfell | 23 days Later]

Within the confines of Winterfell, the sounds of blades clashing echoed through the training grounds of the ancient castle.

Within one of the areas of the training grounds was two young boys, wielding small wooden swords made for them, perfectly fit to their figures. One of them was quite a bit bigger than the other, and was evidently older than the other.

“C’mon Ned, you gotta hit harder than that!” The older boy said with a teasing grin on his face, as the younger boy scowled.

“Yeah well you’re older than me, so it won’t even matter if I hit harder” The young Ned responded with a grumble, as he glared at his older brother, Brandon Stark.

Watching the two boys bicker and argue, two adults stood on a nearby walkway that led to upper areas of the castle, a sort of balcony almost. This was of course, Rickard Stark and Lyarra Stark.

The years had…not been the kindest to the two of them. With the two parents looking quite a bit older than they actually were.

All because of the tragic loss of their eldest child, Cregan Stark.

The next morning after Cregan had been kidnapped, Rickard was alerted to the fact that his daughter was missing. This led to a massive manhunt that started at the wall, and soon spread throughout the North, with every major house looking for his firstborn.

Even the South had gotten word of her going missing, and while many laughed and ridiculed the Northern Lord for losing his daughter, some of the kinder ones that were near the North had also kept lookout for the girl.

But none had found her.

Regular hunts across the wall had been scheduled, and Rickard spent five years looking for his beloved daughter. Five years of failure had ensued, before eventually, with the Northern Lords breathing down his neck, and the Winter coming, he was forced to abandon his hunt for his daughter.

A situation that absolutely broke his wife’s heart.

The only thing that stopped her from ending everything, was the birth of her other children, Brandon, Ned, Lyanna, and most recently Benjen.

But she still hated herself, hated what she had done. She believed that she was the reason for her daughter's “death” and believed that Cregan had left with her father because of her being over protective of her, for not allowing her to become the wolf that she wished to be.

When her first son had been born, she had a reason to live, to live for her children. And when the others began to come, she soon began to heal.

But once Lyanna came…they saw Cregan in her. The wildness, the desire to be free, to not be a lady. To hunt and fight and battle just like any man.

And Lyarra was terrified. Terrified of what could happen to Lyanna should she go down the same route as Cregan was. And so, she was…quite protective of her daughter, noticeably more than any of her other children.

Rickard on the other hand, was incredibly protective of his eldest son, for Cregan was initially going to be his heir. He had planned on naming her his heir once the time came, regardless of if they had a son after her.

Because she was the blessed wolf.

But she had been taken from them. So instead, he focused everything on raising his sons to be the best men they possibly could be. And focused on trying to grow the power of the North through the best means possible.

By connection with and marrying with the South. An idea that came to him by his Maester who had stuck with him for all these years. The same man that Cregan heavily distrusted and wished dead.

During the years, he had been trying his best to improve the North. But…it was proving increasingly difficult all thanks to their lack of financial power.

And it was beginning to kill the North.

Looking over his son's strike at one another, Rickard could only chuckle at their argument, it was petty and funny to watch. But he couldn’t help but remember Cregan, and the way she wielded her blade.

He had seen her once. Training in the Godswood, wielding her small blade like it was an extension of herself. He wished desperately to train her himself, but his wife denied it at every turn, stating that once she turned 10 then she would allow it.

He hated to do it, but he constantly compared his eldest son to his eldest child, the one that had been taken from them so young. And the difference was…insurmountable.

Cregan was a genius, a once in a century genius, and losing her was a great loss for the Stark family.

“Are you alright, my love?” Lyarra asked on the side, noticing that her husband had been consumed by his thoughts once more, a regular occurrence after the loss of Cregan.

“I’m quite alright, love. Just…thinking of the future” Rickard responded with a comforting smile, a fake one, but a smile.

He knew their future was bleak, it was very very evident.

Something would need to change soon, very soon.

Glancing back down at their sons, Lyarra let out a sigh “When are we going to tell them?”

”…Soon. It-it’s becoming hard to hide the truth from them. With the servants still whispering of her name, with her room still being locked away and barred from entrance. Lyanna…gods that child is too curious for her own good, did you know she asked me who Cregan was? About what happened to their eldest sister?” Rickard responded, as Lyarra breathed out a sharp breath.

They had never told their children the truth of Cregan, of what happened to her. All they knew was that their eldest sibling was gone, an unfortunate and terrible accident that took her from them.

…Or so they thought.

“That-…Rickard you know we cannot-“ Lyarra was cut off from speaking as a man ran up from behind her, panting as he caught his breath.

This was in fact, Rodrick Cassel, who was a bit older than the duo in front of him.

“Milord it-it’s” “What is it?” Rickard asked as the man looked him in the eyes, before slowly he reached into his pocket and placed a letter into his Lords hand.

Looking down at the letter, Rickard’s eyes widened as a gasp ripped itself from Lyarra’s throat.

Upon the letter was a stamp, a mark. A black direwolf upon a white field.

The same sigil that Cregan Stark wished to carry, her personal sigil that would differentiate her from her fellow Starks. A marker for who she was, that she was different.

Without hesitation, Rickard ripped it open, and began to read, as tears threatened to form in the mans eyes, as Lyarra stood at his side, openly weeping as she read the words upon it.

The Lone Wolf Dies but the Pack survives. Those were your words, father. But…I’ve never been a normal wolf, have I?

I’m coming home father. And with me, I bring…friends. And hopefully…change.

Signed,

The Blessed Wolf

As Rickard read the letter alongside his wife, he bit his lip to stop the tears, as Lyarra weeped against this chest, as they both knew, deep down…

That Cregan Stark was alive.

And she was returning home.

That’s the end of the chapter!

Originally the letter was longer, but I decided to shorten it. And originally she was supposed to meet her family in this chapter, but I decided that that will be next chapter.

Not sure if another chapter is coming or not, and if it is, it’ll be for this vault fic.

Anyways, have a good day!
