Chapter 265 [Vault]

She was dead. 

That much was obvious. She remembered playing Marvel Rivals before her death, playing with the new character “Angela” the daughter of Odin. She found the character to be fun, and really enjoyed the background of the character too. 

It didn’t help that she thought Angela was super cool, and reminded her of her. 

She had always been a bit…bigger than most. Borderline masculine in appearance, standing at 6’2 even when being a woman. Something that a lot of people didn’t like, while Angela herself stood at 6’2 in some iterations, and stood as tall as 6’6 in others. 

She was also insanely muscular, a true muscle mommy according to many. 

But none of that really mattered anymore, because she was dead now. Dying to…well, she didn’t really know what she died to, only that she did die. But, she was at least happy to know that she didn’t have anybody left to remain sad for her. 

She was an only child and had lived until she was 30. By that time both of her parents had passed on from diseases and natural causes. So she wasn’t too sad about her death, just a little…uncomfortable with her location. 

An infinite void of darkness wasn’t exactly the nicest place to be in. 

But thankfully, it would seem that the void wasn’t going to be so dark for much longer, as a bright golden glow flickered into form in front of her, as her eyes widened in surprise. 

[You have died. That much, it would seem you understand. But, your death is not for nothing! You have been randomly selected to reincarnate into the Arrowverse! More specifically, the world of Supergirl - as this is before the Crisis - and around the time of season 1! In return for this reincarnation, you will obtain a “Family” which in simplest terms, is a group of individuals you shall obtain the power of, unlocking the power of a new member of the family every “Season” of Supergirl that passes. You shall start out with two different characters powers from that family]

[The Asgardian Royal Family! This includes: Odin, Frigga, Thor, Loki, Baldur, Angela, Hela, Bor, and everyone who has ever been a part of the Royal family of Asgard!]

[Your appearance shall be set as one of the two characters you will have the power of. Now selecting the two characters]

The woman reading all of this was flabbergasted as she waited for the system (?) to select her characters. The fact that she had gotten the Royal family of Asgard was a huge boon, as they were one of the better families she could have gotten, with only the Grey/Summers family being better when it comes to Marvel families. 

She wondered if it would be MCU levels of power or Comics. As she knew that Supergirls world tended to be stronger than any of the other shows in terms of their showings. And she had a feeling that they were going to be a lot stronger in person than in tv. 

As the show had to limit their feats due to budget restraints. 

But in person? In person she would see the full might of a Kryptonian, a Speedster, and whatever else she ran across. And while she highly doubted it would be even close to the level of their comic counterparts, she knew it would be stronger than what was shown in the shows. 

The woman paused her thoughts as the words finally formed again. 

[Characters selected]

[Angela/Aldrif | Daughter of Odin] 

[Loki | The Trickster]

[Angela shall be your new appearance. The powers of both shall be the same as their comic counterparts, but limited to around MCU levels of power. However, more power will be unlocked with every new family member connected to. And by the time the crisis comes around, the user will likely be around the level of the comics]

The woman read all of this and nodded in understanding, as it made sense. If she just got the comic characters powers off the bat then she would be unstoppable in the Arrowverse, with only the higher beings having a chance against her, like the Anti Monitor and Monitor.

After reading the words, the system's words warped again. 

[Now that your characters have been selected, the reincarnation process shall now begin. Enjoy your new life…Aldrif Odinsdottir]

Hearing the new name she was being given, the woman frowned and spoke as everything began to go dark “I’m just going to go by Angela!” She yelled out, not really liking the name she had been given, as she began to get pulled away, and everything went dark in the void once more.

[Earth 38 | National City] 

Within the room of a sizeable apartment, a woman lay on a large bed. 

The woman in question was…incredible. Standing at a giant 6’5, with large rippled muscles that gleamed underneath the light of the open window. With broad shoulders and rather impressive breasts. She had brilliant red hair akin to that of blood. 

This was Aldrif Odindottir, our recent reincarnator, who would prefer to be called Angela. 

Slowly Angela began to open her eyes, revealing glowing white eyes, power rippling behind them as she blinked, her eyes returning to a unique golden like color. 

Slowly sitting up, Angela looked around, breathing out as she felt the power within her. The might of a God, the might of a being that could single handedly slaughter armies and bring ruin to others with ease. 

And with that, came all of the memories. Memories that Angela found to be…interesting. Complicated, but interesting. The memories didn’t harm her in the least, and had effortlessly merged with her mind. 

It didn’t do much to her, besides influencing her memories ever so slightly. 

‘Seems the entity that brought me here has given me another gift’ Angela thought calmly, noticing the room she was in was quite nice. She imagined that she had a lot of wealth, potentially because she was quite literally a princess. 

So it only made sense that she was filthy rich now. 

She’d have to find that piece of information out, as she got to her feet, only to blink as the blanket that was covering her form fell, revealing a new…addition that lay between her legs. 

‘…I cannot say I was expecting that’ Angela thought blankly, as she realized that her addition was quite…impressive. Which she decided made sense considering she was a God, and was giant. 

‘…Thank the Allfather that I can use magic to cover this’ Angela thought, realizing it would have been difficult to hide otherwise, as she snapped her finger, clothes floating out from the nearby closet onto her form. 

It was a simple pair of casual clothing that fit her form well. 

Walking out of her new room, she began to explore her new apartment, which was more like an entire floor. It was large, fancy, and pretty much perfectly fitting for someone like her. 

She also found that the system had indeed given her gifts in the form of a fully functioning phone, as well as a bank account with…a lot of money. Like, enough money to literally buy companies if she really wanted to. 

Like, 50 billion dollars. 

She understood that this much was only natural given her station. Add on the fact that she could have just made that much with magic, and 50 billion isn’t much. It’s not like she’ll be using it much or anything, as she had no interest in running a company or anything even remotely similar. 

No, instead she wanted to live her life and help people along the way. She was also curious about the Kryptonians, and was interested in testing Kara’s strength. And with her magic, she could do so without difficulty. 

With the decision to meet Kara on her mind, Angela remembered a place she frequented, and hummed, her facial expression not changing as she grabbed her phone and left the apartment, one thought on her mind. 

‘Let’s see just how strong a Kryptonian truly is’
