[3rd POV] [2 weeks later]
Time had trickled on by, since she had met Thea Queen. And things had went…very well.
After their first initial tutoring session, Thea had continued to return to the same cafe, where Yelena was every day. It was not only her favorite spot to go for tutoring Thea, but it also had great coffee and food, and was a good place to go to just think about her future plans.
Yelena had proven herself to be an excellent teacher for Thea, thanks to the knowledge she had obtained. She ended up improving her teaching skills, by walking past the local college and absorbing the knowledge of various professors, students training to be teachers, and other tutors.
She had also made sure to get the knowledge some other helpful individuals whille there, which improved her knowledge in a variety of areas, like math, science, history, other languages, art, acting, and some more. She was probably one of the most knowledgeable individuals on the planet now, thanks to that.
Through this, she had grown massively in skill, allowing her to improve her teaching methods drastically after a couple of days. Thanks to this, she had proven to be a far better tutor to Thea, than even the teachers the girl had. And thanks to this, Thea’s grades had drastically improved, going from subpar C’s to A’s and B’s.
She had grown closer to Thea as a result of this, and the two could safely consider eachother good friends. They bantered a lot, and Yelena very much enjoyed teasing Thea, but they were friends nonetheless. Even if Thea didn’t know much about her, besides her name.
During this time, Yelena had not been slacking in other areas as well. For one, she had been going around the city, to different dojos and training centers, getting the knowledge of various martial arts around the city, as well as copying the knowledge of dozens of gym trainers. She did this in order to improve her body, which was…lacking to say the least.
She wanted to eventually make a super soldier serum, or something of the sort, but she knew it was a long ways away. She didn’t have the money, or knowledge to create something like that, not yet at least.
But she had begun to rigorously train her body as much as possible. 2 weeks wasn’t enough to get very far with it, but she had begun to imrpove her body as quickly as she possibly could. She had grown some abs and had begun to get more toned, and her stamina was slowly but surely increasing.
Once she had the knowledge required to make a super soldier serum, it would be the absolute most important thing to make.
During this time, she had also taken advantage of her “Instant Reading” ability. Through it, she had instantly read through a several dozen books. Including: The Dictionary, Several books on Physics, over a dozen books on the human body, roughly 10 books on poisons, 10 on strategy and tactics, and quite a roughly 20 cookbooks.
Currently, Yelena was outside a very important place, with an even more important individual that owned it. She was standing outside of a large skyscraper, which had the words “Merlyn Global Group” plastered on the side of it.
Yelena was here for one reason, and one reason only. The knowledge and skills of Malcolm Merlyn. The man was one of the best combatants in the entirety of the Arrowverse, with very very few surpassing him in skill. One of which was Oliver Queen himself.
He was also the father of Thea, the actual father.
Sitting on a bench near the skyscraper, Yelena silently sat “reading” a book. When in actuality, she was waiting for Malcolm to get to there.
It only took a few more minutes, until she felt the presence of a new mind ready to be copied. Grinning discreetly, she glanced around and noticed the man, who was walking towards his skyscraper.
‘This will be the best knowledge I’ve gained so far’ Yelena thought, as she began to copy the mans immense knowledge. She could feel the slight ache in her head, due to he massive influx of knowledge that was swirling about in her head.
The man was…skilled to say the least. He was a master martial artist, master archer, master stick fighter, master swordsman, master knife wielder/thrower, expert marksman, master tactician and leader, skilled in business, he was also highly skilled in stage magic, was a master of deception and manipulation, was a master interrogator and torturer, had quite a bit of occult knowledge, and was skilled in toxicology. He was also skilled in intimidation, stealth, infiltration, was a skilled escape artist, was a master survivor, had indomitable will, and a high tolerance for pain.
Basically…the man had a lot of knowledge that Yelena HAD to have. Knowledge that would allow her to contend with some of the best martial artists on the planet, and even defeat them, thanks to her other bits of knowledge she had swirling about in her head.
As Yelena adapted to the new knowledge swirling about in her skull, her grin widened even more.
‘This…this is even better than I was hoping for’ Yelena thought, happy with the new knowledge she had acquired. It far outweighed the knowledge she previously had in martial arts…by a vast margin. Thanks to the new influx of knowledge, she was now confident in defending herself against normal foes, and Malcolm himself.
‘Now I just need to wait for Oliver to return’ Yelena thought, knowing that once she had his knowledge, her skill would improve even more. With his knowledge, there would be very few martial artists that would be able to directly contend with her in terms of pure skill.
Walking away from the skyscraper, Yelena smiled ‘For now though, I’ve got a student to tutor’

[3rd POV] [A little while later]
Sitting in the cafe, Yelena was silently sipping on some coffee as she waited for Thea. The girl always came by after school, staying for an hour or two, before leaving back home. But today, she was late, later than usual.
‘Hmm, I wonder if her mom finally asked about it’ Yelena wondered.
Thea had told her about her mom, and her…both neglectful and controlling attitude. She was neglectful in the fact that she barely paid attention to Thea, but she was controlling when she saw Thea doing things she didn’t approve of. One such thing was tutoring and having bad grades. A weird thing to be opposed to, especially when she needed said tutoring to have good grades.
Thea had chalked it up to her mom still grieving over her brother Oliver’s “death”. Yelena had a feeling it was more than just that, as the more she heard about Moira, the less she liked her.
Yelena was pulled out of her thoughts as someone moved and sat across from her.
“Thea? You alright? You’re late” Yelena asked, her eyes softening as she noticed the slight redness in Thea’s eyes.
“Um, yeah. My-my mom found out about our sessions” Thea said, looking down.
Frowning, Yelena replied “And what did she say?”
“That she didn’t want me to do it anymore. Some bullshit about how “You need to learn on your own, and not learn from a underqualified tutor” or some crap” Thea said with a scowl. Thea was confident that Yelena was more than qualified, having seen the teen reading a book on advanced mathematics before, something far beyond a highschool student.
“Underqualified? That’s a little insulting. I’m one of the smartest people in the world!” Yelena said with a huff, causing Thea to roll her eyes, but a small smile formed on her face.
“How about I meet her? Your mom doesn’t think I’m qualified, right? Then propose a meeting or even a test. I’ll pass it, and that’ll prove I can teach you” Yelena said with a shrug, not very worried about whether or not she was qualified, as she knew for a fact that she was.
“I-I don’t know if she’ll accept that. My mom is…a bit of a bitch when it comes to stuff like this” Thea said, looking unsure of whether or not that would even work. She doubted it would.
“Well, she’ll have to accept it after seeing how skilled I am. Plus, you’re getting better and better grades thanks to these sessions, and thanks to your own hard work” Yelena said with a comforting smile for her friend.
She knew that Thea used these sessions not just for learning and growing, but also for a friend. As Yelena knew that Thea didn’t have many friends, not true friends at least. Most of her “friends” were people getting close to her for her family. Whereas Yelena at this point, was genuinely just doing it because it was fun. That, and she wanted to meet Oliver when the time came.
“I…I’ll try and set it up. But you know she’ll do a background check on you, right?” Thea asked, knowing her mom enough to know she’d do something like that.
Yelena nodded “I expect it. She won’t find much though” Yelena said with a shrug. They wouldn’t find much about her, thanks to how much of her life she had covered up, through Felicity’s knowledge.
“And plus, even if I somehow don’t pass. You can just say you’re hanging out with a friend, right? It’s not a lie, as we are friends” Yelena said, giving Thea another way of meeting up without her mom being able to cause issues.
“I guess that’s true. Plus your somewhat of a friend” Thea said with a smile, while Yelena rolled her eyes.
“Please princess, we hang out every day, if that’s not a good friend, then I don’t know what is” Yelena said, causing Thea to glare slightly at being called “Princess” as Yelena constantly teased.
“Hmph, can we get to the tutoring? I need some help solving a trig problem” Thea asked, getting slightly embarrassed towards the end, while Yelena just chuckled and nodded.
Getting up, she slid next to Thea, as she began to look over the problem. Not noticing the slight pink dusting her students cheeks.
“Alright, let’s get started”

That’s the end of the chapter!
Next chapter will be roughly the same length, and a talk with Moira, aka Thea’s mom.
Thea is the love interest, and more than likely the only one. I want this one to be mostly Arrow centric, with some crossovers with the Flash and Legends of Tomorrow at times. She might even join the latter team during the first season, considering no time passes when she is gone.
Although if I do that, I’m pretty sure I’ll get tempted to set her and Sara up together, but I won’t do that.
I plan on making a Flash fic, with Caitlin as the love interest. A Legends of Tomorrow fic, with Sara as the love interest, as well as some other ideas. One of which involves a Super girl as the MC with a Luthor as the love interest. Even a fic with the older Danvers sister as the love interest.
I’ve got quite a few ideas lol.
I might also be making a couple of “Owl House” fanfics, as I’ve been getting into that show and fandom the past few days.
Anyways, have a good day, see you later!

I'm looking forward to seeing that flash story hopefully the MC can help with killer frost situation.
