Chapter 63 [Vault]

Title - Kara Zor-El: The Impossible Tribrid

I’ve died, not sure how, not sure when, but I did. One moment I was watching Supergirl, definitely not crushing on Lena, and the next I was here, in an infinite void of nothingness.

I wasn’t unhealthy or anything, nor was I sick with any sort of diseases. So how I died is a mystery to me. It could have been really anything, but was more than likely something that had happened in my sleep. Like a fire or something of the sort.

But that doesn’t matter anymore, not really. I’m here now, and that is what matters in the end.

This situation honestly reminds me of one of those fanfic situations. The overly convoluted ones where they magically reincarnate with a bunch of powers, and become super overpowered.

Is that the situation I am in? Because if so, I can’t say I mind it very much. My past life wasn’t really the best, so this wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world to happen to me.

[That would be correct, young soul. You have died, and are about to be reincarnated into a new life. Due to your own personal luck, you are going to be given a few random boons, as well as where you will be reincarnated, all chosen from a wheel. Please spin the wheel, as no questions you ask will be answered]

Well that answers that…fine, even if the voice is rather rude, I guess it would be best to listen to it.

At the words the voice spoke, a large golden wheel began to form in front of me. The wheel itself was rather normal, besides it constantly changing it’s wording.

Deciding not to annoy the strange deity that had talked to me, I promptly walked forward and spun the wheel as hard as I could.

[3rd POV]

Watching as the wheel spun on by, the woman waited nervously as it continued to spin, before stopping on a total of 5 different things.

[It would seem you have gotten quite lucky, child. You have gotten the following boons:

1: Carol Danvers (MCU) power set.

2: Immunity to the natural weaknesses of the species you are born into.

3: Species - Viltrumite.

4: Species - Daxamite (Arrowverse)

5: 50x comprehension and learning speeds.

Character being reborn as: Kara Zor-El, Arrowverse. Just after season 1 episode 1.

‘Wait what the fu-‘

The woman couldn’t continue her thought process as everything went dark, as she felt a strong pulling sensation.

[3rd POV] [???????????]

Within a rather sizable apartment, a tall 5’10 woman laid. She had sweat trickling down her forehead, noticeable abs, and toned arms. Rather long blonde hair trailed behind her back, as groans escaped her lips.

A sharp gasp escaped her lips as she sat up, eyes wide as sweat caked her body.

‘Rao that sucked’ The woman now recognized as Kara thought, a groan escaping her lips. Her memories of her past life, of the life that got the reincarnation chance, the life that got all the species, had finally returned to her.

And with that, came the new species, powers, and learning speeds. She could literally feel the power thrumming beneath her skin, the energy absorption already rapidly absorbing the solar radiation coming from the morning sun.

She could feel her own strength…and it sort of scared her. She was Kara Danvers just as much as she was her previous life’s self. And that power…was going to take a bit of time to learn to control.

But with that power, she knew she could defend those she loved, far easier than before. Although, she knew that she’d need to hide it for some time, at least until she properly learns to control them.

Getting to her feet, Kara sighed as she looked in the mirror ‘Man, now I have to get new clothes’ Kara pouted slightly, noticing the 2 inch increase in height, and increase in muscle on her arms and abs.

She already had abs before, but this was definitely more noticeable and evident than before. ‘I blame my Viltrumite genes’ Kara sighed, knowing that her new species probably had some sort of affect on it.

‘How am I going to explain the fact that I am no longer weak to Kryptonite? And can probably absorb the solar radiation of red suns now?’ Kara realized, knowing that the DEO would eventually notice, especially her sister.

‘I guess I’ll just try to hide it as long as possible, and when it gets out, it gets out? I doubt they can use my DNA or blood for anything anymore, with how durable I am now’ Kara knew that she was probably the strongest person on the planet at that point.

With her new rapid absorption of solar radiation, her cousin Clark wouldn’t be comparable to her. Give her a few weeks, and she’d be much stronger, just taking the energy absorption into account.

Not only that, but she could use that energy absorption on other things, like kinetic energy, and simple attacks that produce it, which is most normal attacks, like punches. That also meant she’d only continue to grow in strength, rapidly at that.

‘How am I going to explain to Alex, that I am gay?’ Kara wondered, as the memories of her past life sort of revealed more than just new powers. She had been lesbian in her past life, and had only ever been attracted to women. And now with those memories, Kara realized that she was definitely still only into women, a certain female Luthor came to mind almost immediately.

‘Alright, first things first, let’s take a shower’ Kara decided, knowing that she didn’t have work today, with it being the weekend and all.

Meaning, she’d have free time to do some superhero work, and then using her new comprehension speeds to her advantage. As when combined with super speed, she was sure she could learn a lot. Not to mention Kryptonians, Viltrumites, and Daxamites all had mental capabilities far beyond any human. With her being able to hold an infinite amount of information in her mind, and much more.

After a short, and thoroughly enjoyable shower, Kara walked out of her apartment with new clothes and a smile on her face.

‘Alright, it’s only 7 right now, so I should be able to run to the library for a few hours before doing some Supergirl work’ Kara thought, deciding to learn some more Earth science.

She still had perfect recollection of Kryptonian science, a lot of it at that. Being chosen for the Science guild at a young age would do that. She planned on making a visit to the fortress of solitude for some more Kryptonian science knowledge eventually, but not just yet.

Walking down the streets of National City, she smiled at the soft breeze and overall serene atmosphere.

After walking for a few minutes (And totally not super speeding a few times…totally) she had made it to the library. She already had a library card thanks to some previous books she had read, thus, she just walked in and went to the non-fiction section.

Checking her surroundings, she noticed that no one was nearby, looking, and there was no cameras. Grinning, she began.

Activating her super speed, she began to speed read through books.

She started with Mathematics, starting with Highschool level, then College. It took her less than 30 seconds to finish an entire book, with her grinning at the end.

‘I understood all of it…it’s so…simple’ Kara thought, realizing that Kryptonian science was so far ahead of Human science, that even without having learned all the Kryptonian science, she was still far ahead of this.

Realizing that this could prove to be incredibly helpful, Kara grinned and had one last thought as she prepared to begin her first big burst of learning.

‘Alright, I’ve got 5 hours to kill…let’s get started’

This was an idea that sort of randomly came to mind, and I thought it would be an interesting one. As while she’s strong, she isn’t impossible to defeat. Nor does she have a system or anything of the like, instead she got her initial powers, and then it is up to her to get stronger and smarter.

Love interest is Lena Luthor, aka the only correct choice for Kara.

I plan on making a fic with Caitlin as the love interest, with a certain female WWE star as the appearance for the main character. Any guesses on who could that be? I found a pic of her on Pinterest and thought she’d be a good fit for a face claim for a main character of mine.
