That breakup always strikes me as one of the most heartbreakingly realistic one in the show...I always feel so bad for them in some capacity, in the fact that sometimes things don't work out, just makes me so sad

I am 100% on Deb's side. Like, idk, I feel like women trying to kill their abuser isn't an absolutely horrible thing to do, and I think the takes that are like "Deb is just as bad as Dan" are very reductive and inconsiderate, and almost misogynistic. Brucas broke up. I think this was a long time coming, unfortunately. They were cute in Season 3, and I don't doubt that they love each other. But, Lucas never gave Brooke what she needed in a relationship, and Brooke was kind of controlling and possessive over him out of fear of losing him. It was getting to be a little unhealthy tbh. Also, Peyton's life stresses me out with her long lost family members and the weird person who's messaging her. Gosh. And, Skills is going to try out for the team! Yes! More Skills is what I need in my life <3

I Am Not Chamari

Nathan and Lucas both immediately jumping into the river, it reminds me of them running into the School during the shooting. They just can't help it... Haha But it's honestly really similar. Because with the shooting, Nathan ran in to find Haley, and Lucas ran in to try and get Nathan to come back out. And here, Nathan jumped in to save Cooper and Rachel, and Lucas jumped in to save Nathan. I also love the line "He's also Nathan's Father. He's my father too but he never claimed me. Believe it or not, I got the better end of the deal." Or however it is. It just shows how far we've come from S1. Lucas knows that having Dan in his life wouldn't have been good for him, he knows Nathan didn't just have it great because Dan chose him. And I know I've said all this before, but I just love it because it really does show how far they've come, that Lucas no longer holds this resentment towards Nathan for the way things were, he understands it all better and they're close. I just love them. Mouth's little speech to Rachel in the Hospital was good too! How he told her that people can change, they just don't because it's easier not to. I mean, we've SEEN that people can change. Look at Nathan! He's definitely changed! As has Brooke! Even Lucas. And Peyton. They've all gone through these changes. But Mouth was right, that by not facing up to what she's done, Rachel's not allowing growth for herself, because by not facing consequences, you start to think rules don't apply to you and so you keep doing these things. But hey, she's letting Brooke stay with her, so maybe that's the first step. Nathan is of course struggling with what happened. I feel so bad for him. And Peyton has a brother! Coolio! Haha And Brucas broke up. Oh, and Dan's a piece of shit, but we already knew that. Honestly, him attacking Deb, I just sorta, what does he think drove her to try to kill him? This exact behaviour is what caused it! She didn't just think "Hey, ya know what might be fun? Setting my ex husband on fire!" No. It was because she was absolutely terrified for both herself and Nathan, and she wanted him to leave them alone, and she thought that was the only way. I don't condone her actions at all. I really don't. But I completely understand them, and in the whole thing, I am on Deb's side. Dan brought this all on himself. And now Deb's relapsed. Because she's terrified of him. I really wish he'd died in that damn fire!

Oh I remember at first she thought it was Ellie. WTH

All the way back in season 2 Peyton was getting messages from "Watchmewatchyou". If you don't remember they sent a message saying "welcome back" when peyton turned her webcam back on. She responded with "who is this" and they responded back "I'm watching you". Super creepy. And now they are back now that Peyton has turned on her webcam again.
