2021-10-31 05:00:54 +0000 UTCWhen Dracula gave Buffy his blood he thought it would deepen his control but it did just the opposite. Maybe whatever darkness he saw in her was strengthened by it. As to thrall we also saw Drucilla use it on Kendra when she killed her. I also liked Buffy's pink leather pants and how well they matched Xander's pink shirt. lol I loved the hunting Buffy did at the beginning Her fighting skills get so much better each year. She needed a quick slay then back to bed.

2021-10-31 04:20:47 +0000 UTCI really miss back in the day when I was growing up, and people didn't cry about "spoilers" all the time. I really wonder what it was that changed. It's even stranger considering these days it's so easy to just pull something up online and watch it vs back then after it left theaters a person had to wait forever for it to come out on VHS if that person even had VHS player, or if it was TV they had to wait for it to become a rerun.
2021-10-31 04:05:15 +0000 UTCI’m not a big fan of the Dracula portrayal either but the fact they got an actor from SMG’s daytime soap days to play him sort of makes it worth it. It’s a nice nod to her prior career.

I enjoy a lot of the themes of this episode but don’t really enjoy this portrayal of Dracula so much. However it’s a pretty good opener to the season!
