2021-12-03 09:58:32 +0000 UTCFirst of all, I love the Dagon Sphere you have in the background of your videos. I have been waiting for this episode! So much more to be revealed! You are right the about the clues in the Faith and Tara scenes in earlier episodes. When the Powerful Girl in the Red Dress is having her tantrum she says something about someone "sitting down on their tuffet..." an allusion to Little Miss Muffit, who is also mentioned by Faith in the same season 3 finale dream sequence. We have seen Dawn also refered to with this diminutive title in varying forms by various characters. I always wondered if Buffy was questioning or asserting to the monk that "She's not my sister." It's very well-acted and heartbreaking, and adds a depth of interpetion that makes the writing sparkle. Gosh, I rememebr when this aired on Tuesday nights at 9pm and being so excited for Tuesdays. The energy is still there, and I am re-experiencing my joy of first watching this season through your videos! YOu are in for quiet a wild ride! The bonding scene at the end when Buffy and Dawn talk about what could be wrong with Joyce is so touching. Is it magic, is it medical - the mystery and the fear mirrors life. It brings them together as sisters, as daughters, as family. And the way BUffy brushes Dawn's hair breaks my heart.

The only hope is to put the Slayer between the two and make Buffy motivated as they could to save her.

It's kind of like when it comes to vampires and how they can bleed but they are supposed to be dead. It's magic/supernatural. There are some things you're just supposed to accept.

2021-12-03 02:13:25 +0000 UTCThe rule about inviting vampires in is just that the person has to live there, and Dawn does live there. Also you can't say that Dawn isn't "blood related" either. The monks could very well used "Summer's" DNA in her creation. Finally Dawn DID exist before being transformed into human, so just think about her changing from energy into something physical like water changing from solid to liquid to gas.
