Ah, the age old question: What does Damon want/what is he up to? Such a fun character, especially at this point.

Both brothers showing what a vampire can be at both ends of the spectrum of good and bad. The first time I watched this was in January 2017 (just before the show finished). I was looking for something to tide me over between seasons of Game of Thrones. At that time, it was common to watch GoT with a fine tooth comb, picking through every scene in every episode to give a clue as to how it would finish. I'd picked up on a lot of clues in that show and watched this in the same way. By this point I had a fair idea of how the show would end and it hadn't even ended. So basically all I'm saying is there is a lot of foreshadowing in this show. I'll explain in an episode which you have already watched where this episode is a foreshadowing to something that will happen later. Sometimes sooner rather than later.
