One Tree Hill S01E08♡Uncut Reaction &Review ♡

Peyton is not a great communicator, absolutely. I think she's constantly afraid to say what's really on her mind, and on her heart, especially because her entire relationship with Nathan was Nathan putting her down for everything she said and did. What is very clear about this episode to me is that Brooke and Lucas bonded because of their mutual care for Peyton. Lucas wouldn't give Brooke the time of day before. Both of them caring for Peyton in this episode warmed my heart. I really loved their moments together in this episode. Also, Nathan and Haley's first kiss!!! Such a strong Naley episode. When I watched this show for the first time around, I had a hard time connecting to them, but on rewatches, I certainly see the appeal! They are, in fact, very cute and it's easy to fall for them.

I Am Not Chamari

Nathan and Haley are SO cute! At this specific point in the show, they're my favourite couple for sure. Gotta be honest, when I watched this show as a teenager, I really didn't like Peyton and Lucas and I can't say I'm a fan of their relationship (in a romantic sense) right now either, BUT I have grown to make space in my heart to sympathize with Peyton. She just came out of a really shitty relationship, so she's probably a lot of issues tied up with that, too. I much prefer Brooke's chemistry with Lucas, buuuut I don't really want a relationship with them at this point either tbh.

Yes one of Peyton’s flaws is her communication. I will say though I feel like she doesn’t communicate well because she’s either afraid and wants to protect herself or she doesn’t want to hurt other people in the process. I have complicated feelings towards Brooke in the beginning. But more to come on that later. This was a fantastic episode. 😁
