2021-08-01 14:19:24 +0000 UTCI have to agree. Something about The Gentlemen is just so thouroughly unsettling and creepy. The way they look, move and act combine to just make you shudder a little. I was looking forward to this one, and others to come. As far as the censorship, from what I heard the finger motion Anya made just barely passed it. Funny that the cutting out of hearts is fine by that standard, but a hand motion signifying sex hit bells and ringers.... oh well. As always, I enjoyed your reaction, keep em coming.

I’m sure someone else will say so, too, but Joss was tired of people saying Buffy was only good because of its dialogue, so he wrote an episode without dialogue to prove critics wrong! You are always so astute in your commentary and picked up on the theme of not being able to communicate with words as well as when they could not speak. Love that.
