Added 2020-09-16 00:54:22 +0000 UTCGwen sneaked into the villain's lair easily enough, but what she hadn't been expecting was an advanced security system, the likes she had never seen of before.
Her webslinging abilities served little use to her as the seemingly-sentient lasers absorbed anything she threw at it, eventually overwhelming our heroine and subduing her completely.
How could she be so careless? Perhaps it was her cockiness and dominant side taking control in the afternoon earlier that day coming back to haunt her on this mission - she all thought to herself as the lasers enveloped her body, fettering her and immobilizing her easily with a semi-paralyzing shock.
This devious invention had defeated her, quickly and soundly, with no doubt to be had. Now, as the gaseous bubbles surrounded her, she had no choice but to breathe them in - and fall into a sedated state.
"No use resisting now, let's just get this over with. How embarrassing.." Gwen thought to herself as she submissively and deeply breathed in the toxic air around her, sending her quickly to a slumber.
Soon enough Gwen would find out the price for her carelessness. Defeated!
