Interestingly enough I got into more cutesy, innocent BL even though at that time the more "problematic" tropes were the most common and I have definitely seen my fair share of problematic BL over the years. But I'm happy to see the recent development toward more wholesome BL that can be enjoyed by everyone, even non-fudanshi and -fujoshi xD

The whole top bottom thing where one side had to be mean always gave me an abusive vibe. But there is that side of the female market. Like fifty shades of grey.
