2022-05-11 05:20:35 +0000 UTCI actually agree that more anime should show characters slowly falling in love with those around them as they get to know them more than just the initial love interest but I guess it depends on the story the authors trying to tell. Like it happens a lot more often in romance anime for instance. I assume most shonen authors just prefer a lighter workload by having just the main couple so they can focus on other aspects of the story. Kinda depends on the genre I guess, like most shonen rarely even focus on romance at all and kinda just shoehorn in couples at the very end. Kinda like Naruto.

You gain EXP in agility by running around a lot, defense by being hit, etc. That's why agility is usually Bell's highest stat and defense is typically his lowest. It makes sense based on his fighting style of knives and light armor. He dodges hits and goes for quick strikes instead of taking them on with shields or heavier armor and stuff. One benefit for Bell is that in a smaller familia you can get your status updated more often. Theoretically he could do it every day since it is easy for Hestia to manage one person. Of course some gods have over 100 members so it is unrealistic for that to be the case for them. Since their stats don't get applied until an update, many adventurers won't see the results as frequently as Bell does.

2022-01-25 19:40:15 +0000 UTCHestia taking like 2 episodes to give him the knife was a bit annoying but I think part of it was because she wanted to link it with Bell first and make sure he was at full strength. She updated his status because new stats are not applied until the god/goddess rewrites the person's back. It is pretty much like they gain EXP but their strength, agility, etc. need to be adjusted by the deity before they actually impact the person. Fun fact: the knife will only work for members of her familia so Hestia Knife is actually a fitting name for it.

Admiration can be the result of being saved, lust can be the result of seeing someone, but love is something that is developed. I feel like anime never shows that love can be developed for someone other than that initial "love interest"

I don't know if blond is highly appealing.. could just be the author's personal taste. Since black hair is the norm in Japan's society, blonde hair is seen as exotic I guess and that appeals to many mangakas? Love is weird but if I had someone who looks at me like Hinata and there was no progress with the original interest I'd be willing to give the other girl a chance and see where it goes. As for the split pay... I'd go with 60:40% ratio. Just cause time is money and if I can earn more exp with the benefit of not losing time from the day looting I'd be happy to accept that term. Also nice shirt.. Got no sense of fashion so I just wear whatever I deem comfortable. Plus I've got to comment while watching.. I'd constantly forget your question and I'm too lazy to go back and rewatch.

I'm sure more stories would have the mc choose the girl other than the one they were chasing more often if the mc didn't actually love them but if the story is telling me that a character loves another character it makes sense that he isn't going to just jump ship just because someone else likes them instead. I've heard a few reactors say that mc's should go for the girl who likes the mc but that's always felt odd to me, like you don't just start loving someone because they love you.
