Gotta get you to one with an actual DJ playing an original mix and not just something playing from a tape lol.

2022-05-14 13:15:07 +0000 UTCI actually love this series now! The first two episodes were pretty good, at least in comparison to some of the other shows I've seen this Spring. I think the reason why you may not have been able to vibe with the songs is because they're basically Japanese singers trying to sing English songs... I, personally, enjoy them singing Japanese songs more than when they try to sing English ones. Also, this show is, as you put it, "weird" -but in a good way. I've enjoyed the story, so far, the beautiful animation (mixing fluid movements with dated backdrops that you usually only see in old manga or ancient Chinese art), and boppin' music (I wasn't really a fan of Mia's songs but she has a nice, husky voice). I'm really glad that you picked this series up, and are enjoying it as well. It's kinda hard finding a reactor I like and follow on YT that actually picked this one up so I was relieved when I found out you were gonna react to this, albeit as a Patreon-exclusive only. Nevertheless, I joined your Patreon tier just to get your reaction on this series! Keep up the good work!

PA works never miss with visuals too and the OP is amazing.

I was just about to ignore it, but I have this principle of watching at least the 1st episode of every seasonal anime and it got me hooked. It's a shame that so many people have ignored this show completely, I wonder if it's going to get popular over time. I'm glad you're reacting to this and I'm happy you enjoyed it. It's a little sad that you're not enjoying the songs that much, but those are your tastes. I'm looking forward for the next episodes~
