Too bad that, as you mentioned, it's hard finding that show in most streaming platforms... not sure what's up with the licensing issues with that show.

2022-04-19 09:55:01 +0000 UTCPersonally, I'd recommend Toradora since it's one of my favorite romcoms of all time. But for a reaction, I'd probably go with Wotakoi if you haven't watched it yet. It's more recent and one of the few romcoms that are well done that's not about hormonally-charged teenagers and their school life. Plus, it should somewhat scratch the itch that My Dress-up Darling left since it touches on weeb/otaku culture. I also see a lot of people here recommend Clannad... word of advice, if you're not prepared to cry a lot, avoid that anime like the plague.

2022-04-17 18:41:53 +0000 UTCI feel like the right choice here isn't just Bake but Monogatari series as a whole so he can get the full experience, and then see how far it goes in case it's not his cup of tea (After watching his reactions to Kaede's "thing" with her brother in Bunny girl senpai, I doubt the series makes it past a "certain" episode in Nise or even Araragi's behavior hahaha, it will be funny though).

Hopefully it gets enough likes even though it has been posted a lot later than some other stuff. I feel like Clannad, Wotakoi and probably Bakemonogatari and Quintuplets may win out for the next few polls though, so we may need to wait a little while.

I’m sure nobody would have a problem with that (although I’m probably biased since I’m expecting clannad to win a freshest only vote and I really didn’t like that show). I think it would be silly to include it in the poll.

It has another series Gokinjo Monogatari that was in the same world that came out in the 60s that is more romcom it's still fashion though. They are both classics. I don't consider it two recommendations since they are in the same universe. Paradise kiss doesn't require the original. I myself watched Paradise kiss first myself.
