Always wanted to go to Summer Sonic when I lived in Japan, but never could due to work.. it was definitely a big event in Japan, or at least it was pre-COVID.

2022-05-15 10:42:21 +0000 UTCFor anyone that's curious, Avex Pictures on YT just released the full song that EIKO sings "Be Crazy For Me". It sounds as hype as they make it seem on the show. The English bits are a little rough but listening to it over and over again you get to appreciate the entire composition of the song. I can't get enough of this show and its music!

Though I'd imagine there's some nuance as to why anime studios always choose to just go with Japanese VAs trying to speak English instead of actually hiring foreign VAs who speak primarily English. Also, the bit about the repetitive songs, I'd imagine adding too many songs in the show bumps up their production cost due to licensing fees for the cover songs, or hiring actual songwriters to make an entirely new song for the show, as well as hiring singers to actually sing the songs. If you haven't noticed, Eiko's character has 2 VAs... one for her normal dialogue and another for the singing (96neko -you can actually look her up on YT). Same for the other characters in the show that sing, they also have separate singers doing the songs for them. I'd imagine we'd be seeing more songs added in the next few episodes, especially once the full "crew" is assembled.
