I Keep Overpromising
Added 2022-04-26 02:54:58 +0000 UTCI realize that I overpromise a lot so starting right now I will be working to have a more realistic concept of my capabilities and the actual amount of time I have to work on videos. I continue to not think about the time it takes to export, make thumbnails and upload videos… not to mention eat food, hydrate, get up and walk around.
I’ll be recording DanMachi at 8 AM tomorrow morning and posting it along with Tomodachi Game and I’m Quitting Heroing at some point tomorrow

I actually noticed that your mood has been worse lately in your reactions ... or how should I say , you don't have the energy or even the passion towards the episodes like you don't even care anymore ... and this definitely is the sign of taking on too many shows at once, because of course with so many shows to watch you won't even be able to remember the names , plots or why did you enjoy this show you last saw like 2 weeks ago ... So taking it easy and lowering the amounts of .. well everything should make your content better AND life much easier and fun for you :)

As far as my older content goes, that’s a big project that will be saved for when I don’t have a job eating 8 hours out of my day. Every month we get closer to me being able to quit, so 🤞🤞 hopefully soon.

2022-04-26 11:31:18 +0000 UTCit's all good to me honestly i was kinda worried about you getting overworked with so much on your plate, if you need to do one anime a day or one every other day then that's the best way because you'll be able to pump out higher quality reaction, reviews and thumbnails. so in a way its a win win situation for you and the viewers and you'll have time for adding your older content onto patreon if you still have most

I was actually thinking sometime in the last couple of days that I should mention it to you as overpromising constantly is definitely the fastest way to piss people off. Of course I’m not salty or anything just because I want to watch the madoka 9-10 reaction asap since it contains easily the best episode.

I do realize this might be harsh a little harsh but be carefull with your schedule! I've seen more than a couple creators take a step in a better direction at first but after a while their Patreon audience is essentially abandoned and become 3rd class citizens bc the money is 'guaranteed' and sometimes it's just sad to see a creator going from overwork to almost no content .. many relax too much and get lazy on the platform posting 3 times a month. Lots of Patreon creators go from one extreme to the other and it just sucks 😔

But man, you're going kill yourself from the stress alone, so I'm glad you've started to be a little more realistic. I'm not expecting a million videos a day or even a week. Hopefully, I'm not just speaking for myself when I say that you should take care of yourself, your family, your job, etc. first. Of course, recording videos for us is one aspect of your life that you deeply care about, and don't get me wrong, that base- monkey-brain-urge craves your videos but my logical, empathetic side realizes you have other shit to worry about. Long story short, I appreciate the dedication, but don't kill yourself for our sake.
