Like i said earlyer, it is for me the perfekt Anime. I like everything on this Anime the Artstyl the Animationen the Soundtrack the Story the Charakters the writing the dialoges etc. It is fully fleshed out and hits ever Point of what i like on an good Series.

2022-05-27 17:11:43 +0000 UTCWent in blind not knowing what to expect watching Madoka long ago and till this day, it's still one of my favourite animes that i could go on and on about! For me Kyoko is my favourite! Watching her grow as a character and remember why she orginally became a magical girl, one which is her love of stories where love and courage triumphs over all (magical girls shows like sailor moon come to mind) while i knew full well this show isn't like that really got to me at the end of her arc. Personally like the rebellion movie after sitting on it for awhile so it's a doozy for sure. Looking forward to see that reaction!

2022-05-04 08:55:10 +0000 UTCSo, about that time travel. You can ignore this comment if you want (I bet it will be long), but I just love speculating about this stuff. Also I've only seen the main series and sequel movie so there might be more canon info that I'm unaware of. They don't explicitly go into the details, but Kyubei makes it pretty clear that the Madoka universe follows a multiverse theory of time travel. This theory suggests that time travelers can't create paradoxes because every time they go back in time and change something, they essentially create two universes. In one, everything happened normally and the time traveler just disappears when they time travel, never going back to the past. In the other universe, the time traveler did appear in the past and did their thing, but the one who appeared in the past was the time traveler from the first universe. So you can go back in time and kill your own grandpa before he met your grandma. Then in one universe, you existed, tried to go back in time and vanished instead. Your grandpa and grandma had a child just as they normally would have. In the other universe, you suddenly appeared in the past and killed your grandpa, but then the you from that new universe was never born. That's how Madoka could go in the past and kill Walpurgisnacht, but still fight Walpurgisnacht in the present. It's also why she had to reset the universe to fulfill her wish. After all, think about it. She wanted to kill every witch in every universe before they became a witch. So how does she kill the baby Walpurgisnacht from this universe? She can go back in time and kill her, but the universe will just branch and the baby Walpurgisnacht she kills will be from a different universe. In order to successfully fulfill her wish, Madoka had to literally completely destroy all of time and remake it from scratch. Literally the actions of a god.
