Imagine Chiyome just live normally and someone suddenly appear and shout "Furry-eared! Fantasy World Here we Goooo!" LOL. In the later volumes of this LN they did give an unexpected reason why some people try to enslave beastpeople and elf in this world but I think the anime just won't cover that much. They also give some hints in this episode. But right now just take it as a common setting in most of the isekai stories will be good enough.
