Admittedly nuclear reactors were not on my mind. We got a lot of stuff in the world that would be devastating if the people that knew how to handle it were taken away.

With people with special knowldge dying the group to teach the next gen becomes smaller and smaller til no one is left. In a big war like this nearly all people gt drafted and then die.
