Finally, an Update

Hey, y’all. Thank you for your patience. It’s been a busy time, with a lot going on, and I appreciate how you’ve held on for so long; almost a year has passed since I wrapped up work on The Lions of Dawrtaine. The good news, though, is that you don’t need to wait any longer–the first chapter of book three will drop shortly.

And there’s more good news: Eight was picked up by an audio book publisher! It’s still early in the process, however, so we’ll have to wait for news about narrators, release dates, and so on. I’ll share more details as soon as I can.

As a result of the above, I’ve decided to delay the release of the e-books, so that at least they sync with the timing of the first audio book. That simultaneous release will hopefully help the marketing, and bring more people to the story.

Finally, I’m changing the structure of patron rewards, moving to a simpler system. Everyone will have the same access to advance chapters, and the higher levels will be there to provide additional support and encouragement.

The reason is because patron doesn’t make it easy to do rolling unlocks, and I’d rather spend my time writing than fiddling with access permissions. I’ll do my best to provide extras for those at higher tiers, but please keep in mind that those kinds of things are unlikely to be common.

The tiers really are about support, and it means a lot to me that y’all are willing to show it like you do.

Okay, that’s enough. I’m going to tweak the tiers and then start rolling out some content.
