Hey folks! Just wanted to give you a little teaser of some exclusives that are coming to Patreon over the next week or so - there's going to be a whole bunch!
First off, I'm sure you're curious about the picture above...on Friday myself, Larry Bundy, Paul Gannon and Quang from Asobitech went to the Centre for Computing History in Cambridge for an awesome Retro Games Night - that footage will be up on YouTube in a couple of days. But the true awesomeness came at the end when Jason Fitzpatrick, CEO and Curator of the Museum, took us for a tour around the back...and I got to film! You won't believe some of the stuff in there - the wall of BBC Micros and Masters you see in the picture above is only the start of it, trust me. It's like the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark - prototypes, so many boxed systems, military machines...it never ends. The footage will be up, only on Patreon, in a couple of days time.
Secondly, there's the upcoming interview with Jon Hare (you can still submit any questions you have for him!) - this will be happening on Tuesday if all goes well. This interview is for the upcoming Sensible Software vid which will be out at some point in October and obviously clips from the interview will be used there, but the full interview itself will be up on Patreon only. I'm also kinda hoping I might get some other little exclusives from Jon, depending on how much time we have!
Lastly, there's a nice little video (which I'm editing right now actually) where I visited the Baron of Beef pub in Cambridge - famous for being the place where Sir Clive Sinclair and Christopher Curry had a fight. Not that this is commemorated in any way but still, it's a nice little trip to a bit of computing history - this will be up tomorrow.
So all of that's to come and more! Hopefully you enjoy it all - there'll certainly be plenty of me to go around :)
All the best,
-Kim
