2022-08-13 22:01:55 +0000 UTCIt is, in my opinion, a good anime. Two seasons (first aired in 2003, second in 2008) and an OVA (aired 2008). The Manga is finished, the anime doesn't cover the whole Manga. It is set in Italy with girls (age range between 10 and 16 iirc) being trained and used as assassins by the government.

Chisato is a really interesting characters and interesting to see if her ability is something Esper like. Sadly not many reaction to this show

The cutesy art style and aesthetic that really reminds me of K-On (probably one of my favorite animes of all time) and the gritty world of these Lycoris, who act like some secret assassin organization within the country that helps maintain peace and order but in the shadows. Ngl, when I first read the synopsis of this show, I would have skipped it like you did as well. Glad I was bored enough to give this one a shot and was pleasantly surprised by how I liked it a lot. And I'm glad you're also enjoying it enough to react to it and give it a chance.

2022-07-10 06:16:15 +0000 UTCThe way Chisato holding the gun is called Center Axis Relock I guess? I saw someone mentioned that in other discussion of the show. My guess to this original show at this moment is they try to figure Chisato has some sort of personal speciality like super reflexes (or even ability? since it's kinda SF world that trains JK killer...) that is hard for others to spot her or focus on her (maybe this also explain why she is acting such high energy so that everyone can focus on her?). The last scene is interesting as we know Takina is very good at shooting she can take down a drone far away even at night but she cant hit Chisato even that close to her, it seems a bit too unrealistic. That cutscene graphic of Takina pointing a gun to Chisato give me a vibe that it seems unavoidable someday they might fight against each others and Takina will be the one who land the first shot on Chisato. I hope I am wrong LOL.
