Fair enough. Though I would say it is subjective because romance does play a role in it despite it not being the absolute main driver of the plot. It does play an important role in the story. Enough so that Crunchyroll and other sites also place it in the romance genre.

I agree. Charlotte really isn't romance at all. I almost posted something yesterday but I looked at Anilist and saw it has a romance tag so didn't bother (Not that it means much since Anilist includes a lot of weird tags for shows compared to MAL).

Beside golden time and wotakoi , idont think charlotte fit romcom since the series focus on the storyline more there still romcom there but still, goldentime and wotakoi focus on their romance relationship

I’ve seen season 1 original and the remake like 2 years ago. Never watched anything after season 1 though. I plan on watching this with Diana (we watched season 1 together) at some point next year. I want Diana to be comfortable on camera first.

Fruit basket is such a good Anime/Manga, few if any are able to make characters so real and emotional as Fruit basket do. And tell storys so deep and interconected that you can feel the journy they all are on. Added bonus I can imagne Joe both cry like hell and jump from his char watching this.

Isekai meikyuu de harem wo (Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World). It is a slow romance (with sex and harem elements). That's right - despite it being billed as a Harem, the Romance part of the story is more significant than the Harem. While there is some comedy, it is more serious than it looks at first. The gamelike mechanics are key to the story.
