She doesn't sound like her usual roles at all, where her voice is quite recognizable to me by this point due to how unique her voice sounds Edit: nvm I can actually hear her iconic voice once Mabel reverts into a shut-in again, but I didn't originally notice it cuz the voice gets somewhat muted since it zooms out of the memory screen by that point

2022-07-14 11:35:48 +0000 UTCto understand the Eva reference: Asuka was a tsundere in the show and gave mixed message to the protagonist Shinji, but when she was introduced she had a crush on Kaji which wasn't a secret since she was all over him despite him being older and not interested in her. So that's why the uncle's "analysis" was shallow. Also mentioning Eva here is very funny since the last movie aired last year (2021) so by the time uncle in another world takes place (2017-2018) it's one of the only franchises the uncles knows about that hasn't finished yet.
