2022-09-18 23:28:15 +0000 UTCHe was a research pharmacist (which means he had fairly detailed knowledge of the molecular structures), and the synthesis depends on knowing those structures. I like that they are using the actual appropriate molecular structures. Folk medicines did often have some effective compounds (like willow bark contains acetylsalicylic acid aka aspirin). And yes, chicken pox is one of the herpes variants (not all herpes variants are STDs). Shingles is an altered recurrence of the chicken pox later in life (one common characteristic of the herpes viruses is recurrence) I'm not in the field, but have eclectic interests and those were things I looked into from curiosity earlier on.

Like wouldn't that be one of the least destructive ways for a deity to observe the world without fucking shit up merely by existing there (one definition of "god" is after all "something that changes its surroundings merely by existing", so it's quite common for manifestation of a deity to cause tons of physics fuckery of natural catastrophy proportions)

A lot of parallels but as long as it's executed well and it's not a carbon copy it will be another excellent series like Ascendance of a Bookworm. On a side note have you seen the trailer for Makoto Shinkai's next film Suzume No Tojimari? Absolutely looking forward to seeing it in theatres.

Sure, they draw a lot of similarities from Mushoku Tensei and World's Finest Assassin, but I think they handled those bits pretty well. Heck, the scenes with his teacher and being soaking wet almost worried me that they'd go lewd on us... but they actually didn't, for a change. Adding this show on my list for this season.

I want to know what is up with that? The mirrored numbers have to mean something. That's too odd a detail to be there for no reason.
