Keep On Keeping On

Hey everyone!

Well...it's been quite a month. I hope you're all keeping well, and keeping safe during these hard times. They say in memes and so on that being gamers we're certainly prepared for this, but this has clearly touched many of our lives. At present I am well and staying home, my friends and family are also well, and long may that continue.

I thank all of you for continuing to stay here, and hope that whatever I do online helps a little bit in this time when no-one's really doing much of anything. There's been a fantastic response to basically every video released this month, but particularly of course you guys have really loved the NOAH video which is brilliant.

There's a lot to come as well -- these times have certainly made for good idea generation. I'm not sure I've ever had so many video ideas going. The CPS1 video did well and naturally a CPS2 video's going to follow that up in due course, as well as a Sega-centric System 16 one. I have a bunch more quite awful ports from the arcades to the 8-bit microcomputers, a video celebrating some underrated and beautiful Amiga Europlatformers, enough Japanese wrestling games for at least two more videos on that, an interesting dive into the world of promotional games including some controversial tie-ins that would NEVER happen today...there's a lot -- this is all to look forward to. There's also the small matter of company-related documentary work -- Telecomsoft is going to happen in the coming weeks, probably as soon as i get a solid backlog of videos together...I've wanted that for some time, and turns out this is as good a time as any.

And of course, there's the matter of this month's coming wrestling video. I think I'm going to have a smaller subject than the last one perhaps...a dive into Takeshi Morishima has been on the cards for a bit, and I'm thinking about that -- seeing what happened with him, and why all that potential was lost. I'm also thinking of looking at some Japanese matches that went wrong and turned into shoots. As far as really BIG subjects go, I do feel like at some point interlocking the NOAH Great Exodus video and the Misawa video, and the way to do that is to look at NOAH during its greatest and hottest period -- the comeback of Kenta Kobashi and his epic title reign. Obviously Kobashi deserves his own vid at some point, that's for sure.

So...that's all that's happening mostly. There is also the matter of streaming -- I did at one point plan to stream every day during these locked down times, but that's a bit of a reach considering my weekly video schedule. I will be back again though in the next couple of days...most of my streams going forward will be centreing, mainly, around licensed video games. Why? Because of a very big project I'm slowly putting together...it's time for an even bigger A-Z of Licensed Games, in short. One that's in written form.

Anyhoo, that's about it. Thank you all so much for your continued support, please do stay safe out there, and take care.

All the best,

-Kim
