I would say as she's a beast, clothes are not necessary in her mindset. She herself didn't wear clothes too, this is what her natural form, that's why visual confirmation without clothes can be reasonable for her. Just like how she pierces his belly button to confirm, isn't it more crazy? Literally people shouldn't be able to identify others by tasting his belly/blood. Therefore I think the method she used isn't really that important, the emotion of her is the point we should see.

2022-07-28 07:22:30 +0000 UTCThey mentioned in Ep.1 that the Three Sages are the leaders of the adventure team Ganja, Wuzukyan (Bug-eating guy), Belaf (pretty eyes' one) and Vueko (the girl with compass). About the Faputa sniffing Reg part, I think the author is trying to imply that Faputa is more like a wild beast, like dogs, they confim ones identity through sniffing butts. Of course we all know that she is more like a female character as she talks, but she got fluffy four arms and the whole design is closer to an animal.
